I'm heading back to DC on Monday.
That gives us a couple days to get this done, but it does require Trump and congressional Republicans to want to get this done and want to avoid a shutdown.

Trump was about to put everyone in a room and then he canceled the meeting.
That's terrible for Democrats, and terrible for Republicans. It's terrible for America.
Everyone's going to pay more in health care, and some people are going to lose their health care altogether. That's bad.
For people who lose their affordable care subsidy, it will go up significantly.
And for millions, they'll lose their health insurance altogether.
If Congress doesn't act right now, everyone's health care costs are going to go up.
In this case, they only have to agree on one thing: healthcare.
What a good president does in this moment is simple…
They get the leaders of the two parties in a room at the White House and tell them to agree on a budget.
As President, Trump has the ability, and the responsibility, to bring Republicans and Democrats together to pass a budget.
Trump’s shutdown is totally avoidable. 🧵👇🏼
22 million Americans will be paying hundreds more for their healthcare every month if ACA tax credits aren’t extended.
Congress should do everything it can to pass a bipartisan budget that renews the tax credits and avoids a government shutdown.

Government officials should never use their power to access military records just to give them to their political allies in order to hurt their political opponents.
This is very wrong.

We have to get the cost of Rx drugs down…here’s one way:
Let doctors swap in safe, lower-cost versions of medicines like insulin, arthritis drugs, and cancer treatments so folks can get the care they need for less - which is what our new bipartisan bill does.

Please take care of yourselves. Take a break from social media, spend more time with friends and family, and build as much community as you possibly can. We’ll get through this.
This has been an extraordinarily difficult time, and I know that many people are struggling with what they are seeing and reading online. I get it.
I do lean on my faith, and when I do, I hear compassion and grace and the need to help lead us out of this nightmare.
I voted yes not only because I condemn violence, political or otherwise, but also because I know we need more leaders working to lower the temperature - more of us offering compassion and grace in moments like these.
Last week, we voted on a resolution to condemn the assassination of Charlie Kirk and all political violence. 🧵👇🏼
On Trump: “I guess he’s good at telling us what the problem is, he’s bad at solving it…”
Dangerous and un-American.

Trump telling Republicans not to work with Democrats on a budget is a huge problem.
We need a bipartisan budget to keep the government open and protect healthcare for millions of Americans.
