5/ As the NBA Finals begin, fans deserve to know that the league invests in the UAE, and the UAE continues to fuel atrocities in Sudan. This isn’t about hurting the NBA. It’s about using its leverage to help save lives.
4/ We received a response from the NBA. Unfortunately, it was deeply disappointing. The league said it follows U.S. government guidance wherever it operates—but Secretary Rubio has already called for an end to foreign support for the RSF!!
3/ The UAE has invested heavily in relationships with major global brands & sports leagues. That gives the NBA real influence—and with influence comes responsibility. Last month, I urged the NBA and others to use that influence to press for an end to UAE support for human rights violations in Sudan.
2/ Experts are clear: the humanitarian catastrophe in Sudan is driven by the war, and the war is fueled by a steady flow of foreign weapons. The UAE is providing weapons to the RSF in Sudan. Enough is enough.
🧵1/ The NBA should divest from the UAE until it ends support for the RSF in Sudan. Sudan is facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises: more than 11 million people displaced, widespread atrocities, and millions facing hunger and famine.
Republicans like to say we don’t need to fully fund programs that help pregnant moms stay fed because enrollment dropped last year.
NEWSFLASH!!! Enrollment dropped because they shut down the government & starved the program for TWO MONTHS!
They should really do their homework.
Our joke of an acting AG—who “happens” to be Trump’s former personal attorney—just gave his boss a lifelong get out of jail free card (which also applies to Trump’s family and businesses.)
Doesn’t get any more corrupt than that.
Why is it that when Republicans lecture America about fraud, they never seem to talk about the massive fraud foisted on America by Donald Trump & his billionaire backers?
I’m all for making sure our tax money goes where it belongs. Let’s start at the White House.
Energy at today’s Food Is Medicine Conference was electric! Big support for medically tailored meals & big opposition to GOP nutrition cuts. I’m all for making America healthy again—but you can’t be healthy if you’re hungry & we can’t defund & deregulate our way to better health!
Hey Andy, if you thought it was a good idea to delete this hateful tweet, why did you post it in the first place?
Reminder that this guy is using his current job to go after Trump’s political opponents by illegally digging through their mortgage records.
He’ll now have access to America’s most sensitive secrets. Don’t be surprised when he illegally uses his new post to do Trump’s dirty work.
Ah yes, let’s turn America’s top intelligence officer into a part-time job, held by a guy with ZERO relevant experience.
What could possibly go wrong?
He “doesn’t care” about affordability. He “doesn’t care” about soaring gas prices. He doesn’t even care that our troops died in a war HE STARTED—a war he “couldn’t care less” about ending.
What the hell does this guy care about other than HIMSELF?!
Accidental drowning is the leading cause of death for young kids. But water safety, education, and swimming instruction dramatically reduces that risk.
That’s why I’m fighting for federal funding that protects our kids from preventable death.

It’s young people who will bear the brunt of climate change. Thankfully, kids at Gibbons Middle School in Westborough have bright insights & solutions that give me hope for our future.
Thanks Ms. Fillmore & Mr. Paulhus for inviting me to talk about protecting our planet!
Trump says he “doesn’t want to hear about affordability.”
He admits he “doesn’t think about Americans’ financial situation.”
Do you really think this guy gives a shit about you?
Trump’s own government gave him, his kids & his companies lifetime immunity from IRS audits and tax prosecution. They line their own pockets with taxpayer money and get out of jail free.
This is the kind of large-scale fraud & corruption you’d expect in Russia or North Korea. Trump brought it here.
Honored to join folks at Amherst College for their college reunion!
Access to quality education is a human right—and our Ahmerst Alumni are paying it forward, giving back, and using their education to contribute to their communities & their country.
Keep doing great things!
In the richest country in history, everyone should be able to access fresh, local produce—and local farms help make that a reality.
Great to attend this weekend’s North Hadley Asparagus Day festival to celebrate our farmers. Their fresh produce keeps our community healthy & fed!
Young people deserve to know they’ll be able to afford groceries, buy a home, & raise a family when they grow up.
Enjoyed meeting with students from Sullivan & Sutton Middle Schools. Their inquisitive questions & inspirational stories give me great hope for the future of our country!
