🚨WASHINGTON STATE🚨 Window shopping for 2026 Washington Healthplanfinder opens TOMORROW OCT. 21. If you log in tomorrow and see that your plan has doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled—speak out. Republicans need to face the crisis they created and work with us to solve it.
My advice for Republican leaders: stop taking your marching orders from billionaires like Trump, and start listening to the people back home who are about to see their premiums double–or worse.    They are begging you to take action.
A WA state family told me they are about to see their health care premiums increase from $772 a month to nearly $2,400! That is absolutely absurd. While Republicans keep sitting on their hands, Democrats will keep fighting for your health care.
Republican leaders need to stop hiding from their constituents, from the health care crisis they’re causing, and from the negotiating table.    The clock is not just ticking—the alarm is going off. We need to act now, before these premium hikes become unavoidable.
THANK YOU to all of the patriots who made their voices heard peacefully across Washington state. 🦅🇺🇸 This is what democracy looks like! We use our voices and our votes. NO KINGS IN AMERICA! ❌👑 📸 @seattletimes.com
WA state's health care enrollment window shopping starts this Tuesday, October 21st. Republicans need to come to the table and negotiate with Democrats NOW. There is no "later."
Republicans can't find a single minute to work with Democrats to keep health care costs from skyrocketing–but don't worry, they had plenty of time this summer to shovel tax breaks to billionaires.
To everyone participating in a No Kings protest today, thank you. Protest PEACEFULLY, look out for your neighbors, and use your voice. This is part of how we protect our democracy. There are NO KINGS in America! ❌👑🇺🇲
Despite what Trump may have you think, shutdowns do not require presidents to  ❌ fire people en masse, ❌ cancel projects, ❌ or target political opposition. This isn't our first shutdown, but it IS the first time a President has tried to use one to hurt the American people.
It's day 17 of the Republican shutdown. WA state families are getting notices in the mail starting NEXT WEEK to let them know how much their health care premiums will increase. There’s no “later” to fix this health care crisis–we need to do it NOW.
Trump can lie about health care for illegal immigrants all day long.   But the cold, hard reality of hospitals closing, people losing their health care, and premiums more than doubling is going to be a wake-up call.   Trump doesn't care about your health care or how much it costs.
Meanwhile, these guys refuse to even TALK about how to stop the cost of health care from bankrupting middle-class Americans. Trump wants to hurt people. Democrats are trying to help people. It's never been clearer.
An administration run by crooks and cowards is ONCE AGAIN illegally and punitively blocking funds for JUST blue states. I'm not intimidated by miserable thugs like Russ Vought, and you shouldn't be either. This isn't Trump's money. These are taxpayer dollars. HANDS OFF.
When will the shutdown end? As soon as Republican leaders stop twiddling their thumbs and sit down with Democrats to negotiate. It could end TODAY if they decide to work with us to reopen the government and stop health care costs from skyrocketing.
AMERICAN CITIZENS, INCLUDING VETERANS, detained by ICE! This is an outrage. Every single Republican needs to answer for this.   In the meantime, we can't let this administration sweep this kind of gross abuse of power under the rug.   SHARE THIS STORY. USE YOUR VOICE!
Where on earth does the Trump administration get off talking about half of the country this way? What a sick way to talk about the political opposition. Democrat, Republican, whatever—we are ALL Americans. We need to show Trump what WE think with our voices and our votes.
Leavitt: "The Democrat Party's main constituency is made up of Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals."
Speaker Johnson is right—he has NO strategy to reopen the government and keep health care premiums from skyrocketing. Here's an idea: work WITH Democrats if you want our votes and COMPROMISE. Ready whenever you are.
