Tonight I voted YES for two arms sales resolutions to block the sale of certain weapons to Israel.
I will not tolerate Netanyahu's reckless disregard for human life and human rights. My full statement:

Today I asked the top nonpartisan budget official in our government an important question.
What single piece of legislation has contributed most to the national debt in the last decade?
The answer? Trump's Big Ugly Bill—and it's not even close.
I voted to put a check on Trump and END his war of choice with Iran. Senate Republicans refused, and voted to continue Trump's war and keep gas prices surging.
Democrats will keep forcing tough votes until this war is over and our servicemembers are home.
I just voted to put an end to Trump’s reckless war of choice in Iran for the FOURTH time.
And for the FOURTH time, Republicans blocked us to let Trump spend BILLIONS more on bombs while prices across the board are skyrocketing.
Trump's economy: rising costs and record inflation.
What kind of crimes are being committed that White House staff would need pardons for?
This is blatant and historic corruption.
Criminals should NOT be running the White House.
🎸🎸Lollar Pickups & Guitar Repairs helped put Tacoma on the map.
They are actually manufacturing and building something special right here in America, but Trump’s tariffs are hurting them and driving up costs.
Congress must vote to END these tariffs.
No. The 2020 election was not rigged or stolen from Trump.
These lies aren’t just a tantrum because his ego is bruised from losing—they undermine our free & fair elections and are a threat to our democracy.
Oh, and didn't Fox News have to pay $787 million for spreading these lies?
Last year, I said I’d rip up Trump’s budget and make sure Congress wrote a new one—we did and I’ll make sure we do it again.
The American people want their tax dollars going toward investments that help everyone and make life more affordable—basics like utilities & child care.
Prices are surging and it's thanks to two main things:
1. Trump starting a costly foreign war that no one asked for.
2. Trump's arbitrary & corrupt tariffs.
He promised to lower inflation, to lower prices—he not only broke those promises, he's actively doing the OPPOSITE.
This is a DIRECT result of Republican inaction.
I tried to push a vote for over a YEAR to extend the ACA credits that helped folks get the health care they needed—but Republicans wouldn't budge.
I won't stop fighting until health care becomes affordable for families at home.
It’s good that President Trump has approved this major disaster declaration for Washington state.
There are more federal resources Washington will need and I’ll be working to make sure our communities get the help they need to recover.
Families in Seattle and Spokane didn't vote for Trump's war of choice, but they're the ones paying for it every time they fill up their tank.
And Republicans are blocking Democrats from putting an end to this war for good.
This mission and yesterday's safe return just goes to show how outstanding American scientists and astronauts really are.
Welcome home, Artemis II crew. Thank you for inspiring the world. 🚀🌙🌎
How the economy changes can be complicated, but this isn’t.
Trump started a war no one asked for and sent energy costs surging. He forced tariffs that made nearly everything more expensive.
You're paying more because of Trump—period.
Remember when Trump promised to "end inflation?"
Well, instead, you got a President who is directly responsible for driving up inflation—all thanks to a war he didn't have to start and tariffs no one wanted.
More than 400 hospitals are at risk of closing thanks to Trump's "big, ugly bill."
This will hit rural families—they'll now have to drive even farther before they can get care—if it's not too late by then.
This is what happens when you prioritize billionaires & bombs over Americans.
Where Congress should be a check on Trump’s every abuse of power—this Republican Congress is shamefully absent, even when he threatens to wipe out an entire country.
My message to every American: you are voting in the fall. Your voice and your vote matter. You are not powerless.
