It’s now Sunday and Trump’s Big Ugly bill is still being read on the Senate floor.
We need to use this time to get the word out:
-16 million Americans losing health care
-premiums skyrocketing
-hospitals closing
And that's just SOME of what it means for health care.
Senators must VOTE NO.

I just voted NO on the motion to proceed on the Big Ugly bill.
Let’s be clear: Voting YES on this procedural motion IS voting to let Republicans pass the largest health care cuts in history.
This isn’t over. There will be debate & amendments.
SENATORS MUST VOTE DOWN THIS BILL!
Republicans told us they wanted to vote on their Big Ugly bill promptly at 4pm ET.
We’re here. But it seems they’re not ready to go.
I guess they’re still working on buying the votes they need to cut Medicaid, close hospitals, and kick seniors out of nursing homes.
Republicans chose to release the text of their Big Ugly bill late last night.
They’re trying to pass the largest cuts to health care in history late on a Saturday.
So Democrats are forcing the entirety of the bill to be read on the Senate floor.
We won’t let them hide.
It's Saturday, so you may not realize, but you should know Republicans are RACING to pass the LARGEST cuts to health care and nutrition assistance in our country's HISTORY
All to pass TRILLIONS in tax giveaways for billionaires who don't need it.
Senators must vote NO.
PLEASE READ and SHARE from the CHILDREN'S Hospital Association:
“Your child—regardless of their insurance status—could see the services they rely on reduced or eliminated... The bill amounts to fewer doctors and nurses to see your child, longer wait times, and sicker children."
Republicans are trying to pass the largest health care cuts in history this weekend. But we can stop their Big Ugly bill.
To anyone listening: this is not a time to give up. Speak up, speak loud, fight back.
We beat ACA repeal in 2017. Keep your shoulders up. Keep fighting.
Trump does not have the power to drag the U.S. into a war with Iran over the objections of Congress and the American people.
I voted for Senator Kaine's War Powers Resolution tonight to send a clear message: NO war with Iran.
This ruling is deeply alarming, but let's be clear: Trump’s lying again.
Probably because his staff will tell him whatever makes him happy. Or maybe he just can’t understand.
Regardless, his anti-American EO is still unconstitutional, and it WILL be fought any way we can.
I hope you’ll listen to Sarah share how Medicaid has saved her son Paul's life.
Like Sarah says, the benefits of Medicaid are more than health care or home care—they have helped Paul live a full life.
Please help share Paul's story. NO cuts to Medicaid.
I'm going to try and communicate with my Republican colleagues in a new way.
Listen to the doctors: When patients go uninsured, they delay care, and it increases costs for everyone.
Instead of paying $10 for diabetic medication, we'll pay $10,000 for an amputation.
Help share so that everyone understands and speaks out AGAINST this Big Ugly Bill.

Murray: "None of us would sit here and agree to bipartisan bills knowing their partners were just gonna gut that deal with recessions. I hope each of us thinks about that today."
We can't become numb to this lunacy. Republicans can't let anti-vaxxers like Lyn Redwood help OVERSEE vaccine safety.
She will spread even more dangerous lies about vaccines—and she’s going to get kids killed.
She doesn't belong anywhere near CDC. My full statement. ⬇️
The SCOTUS decision to allow states to defund Planned Parenthood will mean real harm to millions of women who need cancer screenings or birth control in South Carolina and other GOP states that follow their lead.
A devastating blow to women's health care in America, but I’ll keep fighting back.

Murray to Vought: This should be a yes or no. What I hear is all kind of word salad to make sure you are letting us know that you intend to do things that are outside the intent of the law.
Republicans tried to effectively ban insurers from covering abortion care in their Big Ugly bill.
This would've been catastrophic, even in states like mine where abortion is legal.
But Democrats fought and WON, stripping out this provision. It's not over. We'll keep fighting.
Russ Vought is already illegally withholding hundreds of billions in federal funding from our communities.
Now, he's refusing to rule out cutting off even more funding with a new, illegal end run around Congress.
He's ignoring common sense & the plain text of the law.
I pressed Trump's CDC nominee on how NONE of RFK Jr.'s vaccine advisory committee appointees have been properly vetted, and I raised how RFK Jr. is pushing dangerous disinformation & policies already undermining access to vaccines.
We have to keep pushing until science & sanity are restored.
Russ Vought, Trump's budget chief, came before @senateapprops.bsky.social today to ask Congress to codify DOGE cuts.
Here's what I had to say: Congress needs to REJECT these cuts and reassert its power of the purse.
To my colleagues: join me in defending the authority of Congress.
