Visited Springwood Ranch last week. I'm committed to supporting the collaborative work happening to protect our water, environment, fish, and agriculture in the Yakima Basin.   We can safeguard our environment, honor Tribal Treaty rights, and grow our economy at the same time.
The Republican tax bill won’t just kick millions off their health care, it will SPIKE premiums and RAISE costs for EVERYONE. The cuts to Medicaid, attacks on the ACA, and surge in uninsured Americans will even force hospitals to close their doors. Congress needs to REJECT these cuts.
Horrifying to witness yet another antisemitic attack on the Jewish community yesterday in Boulder. Each one of us needs to speak out to make clear that hate, violence, and antisemitism have no place in our communities. My thoughts are with the victims as they recover.
Proud to fight for our LGBTQ community in the U.S Senate. Let’s keep working to ensure dignity for everyone and equal protection under the law, no matter who you love or how you identify. Happy pride, Washington state! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Republicans are trying to pass the largest ever cuts to health care & nutrition assistance in our country’s history, but the savings from these cuts don’t even pay for their bill.   The GOP tax cuts for billionaires will still blow up the deficit by trillions—even Elon admits it!
Good to meet with everyone working to make the Wenatchi Landing project a reality for Douglas County. I’ll be working to help secure the federal funding we need to get this over the finish line and help power more jobs and economic growth.
Why do billionaires need more tax cuts than kids need health insurance? Why do billionaires need more tax cuts than hungry kids need food?   They don’t. The bill Republicans are trying to pass is WRONG. Every Senator needs to vote NO.
For 60+ years, the Job Corps has helped millions of young people get workforce training & land good jobs, especially in the trades.

Trump is shutting down programs NOW, ignoring the funding Congress provided. So much for having workers' backs. These cuts must be reversed.
You can't kick millions off Medicaid without forcing hospitals across America to close, especially in rural communities. People who've lost coverage will delay care and eventually head to the emergency room, uninsured. Every Senator needs to vote NO on these Medicaid cuts.
I met with providers in Snohomish County who provide hope & housing to their communities, helping to prevent homelessness and get people back on their feet. Trump's jeopardizing their work.   I'm going to fight with everything I have to rip up his budget & protect funding for housing.
Elon's legacy ranges from gutting cancer research to setting in motion millions of deaths from starvation or disease. I'll be pushing for Congress to hold Elon & DOGE accountable—for every act of corruption, every disastrous consequence, and every law they have broken.
THANK YOU to the emergency response leaders who joined me in Snohomish County today. I'll keep fighting to make sure you get the federal resources and support you need.   It makes zero sense to eliminate FEMA like Trump has suggested. And you can bet I'll be fighting any effort to cut FEMA's budget.
The question before Congress right now is about life and death issues: Will hospitals stay open? Can kids stay on their health care?   OR are billionaires like Elon going to get trillions in tax cuts—at their expense? Not a hard question. I know my answer—I'm with families.
Great to hike on Cle Elum Ridge with @nature.org to discuss the importance of federal investments for forest restoration and protection. Protecting our natural resources has to be a top priority. In the Senate, I'll be fighting back against ANY proposed cuts to funding for our public lands.
As Trump fires vets, cancer researchers & so many others, his administration is encouraging agencies to ignore HR recs and pay Trump political appointees the max salary—nearly $200k. Padding loyal operatives' pockets while decimating basic services. I'm demanding accountability.
My family relied on food stamps briefly when I was a kid—our country had our back, and all 7 of us kids grew up to give back to our communities.   Investing in nutrition assistance? Investing in SNAP? That’s an investment in people, and cutting SNAP won't help anyone.
We should NOT cut food assistance in America so that Trump can pad the pockets of billionaires and giant corporations. If Republicans won’t listen to common sense and common decency—then we are going to get a megaphone and shout it from the rooftops: HANDS OFF SNAP.
I'll be a broken record on this: The GOP tax bill puts tax breaks for billionaires over health care for millions. Premiums will skyrocket for middle-class families. Working people—and CHILDREN—will lose health care. Hospitals will close. We've got to stop them. Help spread the word.
