Elon Musk and President Trump are trying to break Medicaid and Social Security. They're attacking the free press, defunding colleges and universities, and rolling back our rights. This weekend, Minnesotans gathered by the thousands to say #HandsOff!
Minnesotans are here to show Elon Musk and President Trump that we’ve had enough! #handsOff
I’ll be at the Capitol today. I invite you to join me and your fellow Minnesotans to rally against President Trump’s scheme to gut Social Security, Medicaid, and Veterans’ Benefits to fund tax cuts for his billionaire donors.
See you at noon. #HandsOff
I'm not going to let Elon Musk and President Trump rewrite history. I'm prepared to tell the full story — the good things, the bad things, and the challenges we face together as a nation.
President Trump fired NSA's top officials who upheld security standards while shielding his 18 appointees who jeopardized it by using Signal for classified info. Scapegoating qualified leadership to protect his appointees who broke the law is disgraceful and weakens our national security!
The remains of four U.S. soldiers return to Dover Air Force Base today, and President Trump couldn't be bothered to be present for it. Instead, he's golfing at Mar-a-Lago. Trump is paying more attention to a Saudi-backed golf tournament than he is to our nation's fallen heroes.
Great meeting yesterday with General Xavier Brunson, Commander of UN Command, ROK/US Combined Forces Command and U.S. Forces Korea. Grateful for his leadership and for all U.S. troops stationed in South Korea who are advancing peace and collaboration with our allies in the region.
President Trump says his tariff rollout is “going very well.” Most American families shocked by the hit to their retirement savings and higher costs today would disagree.
As a candidate, Donald Trump promised he’d lower costs on ‘Day One.’
As President, Trump’s igniting a trade war that his own advisors say will bring economic pain for the American people.
The only thing the Trump Tariffs will "liberate" is Americans’ money from their bank accounts.
"Groceries" is only an old-fashioned and beautiful term if you are an out-of-touch billionaire who does not buy them.
Tariffs are taxes. Grocery prices will rise.
President Trump’s highest national security officials are showing a pattern of mishandling sensitive information. Personal email accounts are not allowed for official national security business and any government official found using them for this purpose must be held accountable.
That's why this week, I joined my fellow House Democrats on an amicus brief supporting a lawsuit against Musk & Trump’s illegal and unconstitutional dismantling of USAID.
Elon Musk is lying about USAID.
USAID’s leadership around the world not only helps the hungry and those suffering under authoritarian regimes and disasters – It helps address problems before they reach our shores.
Today, I honored Gordy Kirk, who passed away on March 2nd, three weeks shy of his 102nd birthday.
A proud member of Saint Paul’s Rondo neighborhood, Gordy was a World War II combat veteran who bravely served his country at a time when the ranks of our Armed Forces were segregated.
I extend my condolences to the families, friends, and fellow servicemembers of the U.S. Army soldiers who we lost during a training exercise in Lithuania. Our nation is grateful for their service.
Republicans in Congress have already given up their power to the executive, and now they're demanding the same from the judiciary.
I will vote no on the ridiculous scheme to ban nationwide injunctions. We must maintain a nonpartisan bench and protect the separation of powers.
In a win for our community, a federal judge stopped Elon Musk and President Trump from illegally canceling teacher training grants for UMN and St. Thomas University. The President cannot illegally take away scholarships to give away massive tax cuts to Elon Musk and his billionaire megadonors.

On Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate Minnesota’s transgender community and recommit to standing up for our neighbors in the face of hatred.
As your Governor, I’m proud to stand in this fight with you.
In a win for consumers, a federal Judge halted the dismantling of the CFPB over the weekend. I joined over 200 House Democrats in an amicus brief for this very case to defend CFPB. If Donald Trump wants to avoid courts ruling against him, he should stop doing illegal things.
