Republicans lied for months about their cruel cuts to Medicaid.
Now, under the cover of darkness, they're advancing legislation to do exactly that.
LISTEN & WATCH
In the dead of night, Republicans will be holding a hearing in the next step passing their Big Bonanza for Billionaires.
While most of America will be asleep, I will be there & fighting against cuts to your health care.
Elon Musk today says he’s “stepping away from political spending.”
Would be a terrible time to remind people he tried to get this video scrubbed from the internet when he tried to buy the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

There is no room for compromise when it comes to protecting American's health care.
ESPECIALLY when the primary goal is transferring that money to the 1% in the form of tax giveaways.

You can’t beta test people’s retirements.
The cost of failure isn’t inefficiency — it’s millions left trying to pay bills without their main source of income.
The vast majority people on Medicaid who can work do. They’re the people supporting our communities on poverty wages.
Study after study confirm that work requirements don’t increase employment and function as cuts that punish the low-wage workforce, seniors, children, and people with disabilities.
Tonight under the cover of dark, Republicans on the Budget Committee have convened and are hoping you don’t notice they’re lining up health care cuts for millions of Americans.
They failed last try, but you know what we call the “hold outs”… they’re KTF. Known To Fold.
All of my love and prayers are with President Biden and his family. May they find strength, healing, and peace.
Donald Trump’s reckless mismanagement and chaotic flip-flops on economic policies have caused America to no longer be the economic envy of the world and most favored business partner.
The reduction in investments in the U.S. harm businesses and consumers.

Investing in America's children is always worth it.
We need to prioritize our kids over tax giveaways for the wealthiest in our society.
🚨🤬G.O.P. Tax Bill May Hurt the Lowest Earners and Help the Richest
“Millions of Americans stand to lose access to federal safety net benefits, according to the government’s own estimates...”
Tell me again why in the world why we are doing this?

Democrats aren't sitting back.
We won't go quietly as Republicans plot to cut your health care, food assistance, and send American families into a financial and economic crisis.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Republicans wanted you to be sleeping while we talked about what a bad deal their bill is for the people.
Here's what you missed ⬇️
I am monitoring the ongoing situation at the Zeidler Municipal Building, praying for the safety of all involved, and thank law enforcement for their swift response.
This GOP tax bill rigs the system against average Americans.
We simply should not, as a society, starve children and deny the infirm healthcare all so society can lavish the elites with more and more.
The GOP tax bill is a perverse breach of the social contract.

I know what it’s like to go cold and hungry as a child.
If Republicans were truly concerned about getting women to have babies, they wouldn’t cut SNAP or leave America’s poorest children behind in their CTC proposal.
Our children are worth every dime.
We just wrapped 18 hrs of debate on the GOP Tax Bill. Their plan is clear:
1) add tripwires around Americans accessing their health care
2) count on people to FAIL to keep up w/ paperwork
3) funnel the 'savings' (aka lost health care) to the ultra wealthy through tax giveaways

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
