Republicans failed the American people by refusing to uphold the Constitution and stop Trump’s illegal war.
Trump campaigned on ending wars and lowering costs. Instead, he’s starting wars and raising costs.
This is not “America first.” This is “families suffer, while billionaires profit.”
The Trump Administration’s thoughtless and contradictory travel guidance to Americans in the Middle East right now is frustrating and downright dangerous.
My focus remains making sure Oregonians are safe. Please reach out to my team if you need help.
I wrote a bill to ban elected officials from using insider information to make a fortune on prediction markets.
No one should be abusing insider information to profit.
Not about war in Iran. Not about anything.
Trump and his administration are shredding our Constitution.
No war with Iran.
Trump violated our Constitution by waging war without Congressional authorization.
Senate Rs had the chance to defend our Constitution. They failed.
They failed to defend our Constitution.
They failed to rein in Trump’s poorly planned and illegally-launched war.
They failed the American people.
Congress needs to act NOW to rein in Trump’s warmongering.
I fully support @kaine.senate.gov's war powers resolution.
I don’t accept Rubio’s excuses for a moment.
Is Trump seriously so weak that he’s letting Netanyahu drag the U.S. into a war?
No war with Iran.
Trump claims he’s the President of peace. He’s anything but.
He is a warmonger, starting wars and putting the lives of our servicemembers on the line.
The power to declare war belongs to Congress — not the President. These strikes on Iran are unconstitutional and risk dragging us into another endless war. Congress must vote on the War Powers Resolution immediately. No war with Iran.
Trump is hell-bent on seizing control of our elections. HELL NO. Every patriot needs to work together to defend our democracy and our fundamental freedom to vote.

Decisions about war and peace shouldn’t be left to one person.
Congress holds the power to authorize military force. We need to use every lever we have to prevent Trump’s warmongering.
HELL NO. @lujan.senate.gov’s and my Epstein Files Transparency Act—which Trump himself signed into law—required ALL the Epstein Files to be released.
Release them, DOJ. NOW.
Trump will NEVER put you and your family ahead of his billionaire buddies.
I’m fighting for a vision where families thrive and billionaires pay their fair share!
We have the bipartisan momentum we need to crack down on the billionaire corporations gobbling up homes and sending housing costs sky high.
Houses in our communities should be homes for families, not a profit center for Wall Street.
Let’s get it done!
When billionaire corporations buy up the housing in our neighborhoods, it’s nearly impossible for families to have a real chance at finding a safe, affordable home in their community.
We need to use every tool in the toolbox to solve this!

@merkley.senate.gov is calling for CBO to probe the cost of Trump’s violent escalation of federal immigration enforcement.
Last year, Republicans approved a dramatic increase in DHS funding, yet there is no comprehensive accounting of how these funds are being spent.
