TOWN HALL: I’m headed to Columbia County for a public town hall on 1/16 at 3:30 PM. Hearing from Oregonians about the challenges they face and the issues they care most about shapes my work in the Senate—I hope to see you there!

Health care costs are SKYROCKETING for more than 20 million Americans.
Why? Because Trump and Republicans forced through tax breaks for billionaires—and left families across the country out in the cold.
Federal agents shot two people in East Portland.
I’m demanding a full investigation that includes Oregon law enforcement—we can’t trust federal agencies to run a transparent and unbiased investigation.
ICE needs to end their dangerous operations in Oregon NOW.
Thank you, @agdanrayfield.bsky.social. It’s absolutely critical that state and local officials are involved in any investigation that happens—we need accountability. We cannot trust the Trump Administration to provide a transparent and unbiased investigation.

There is no way we can trust anything coming from the Department of Homeland Security. They have been lying to the American people time after time.
ICE needs to end their dangerous enforcement operations in Oregon now.
We need full transparency on what happened including the role of both ICE and CBP and full accountability—a full investigation with local and state participation.
ICE has been terrorizing our communities at the behest of an authoritarian strongman. They’ve done nothing to make our communities safer. This is fascism.
There has been no word on the condition of the two individuals. I'm praying for their recovery and my heart goes out to their families, who have been plunged into pain and uncertainty.
Just one day after Renee Good was gunned down by ICE in Minneapolis, federal agents under Trump have shot more people, this time in my neighborhood. I am furious.
Please keep protests of Trump's ICE/CBP peaceful, as Trump wants to generate riots. Don't take the bait.
