Grateful to hear that law enforcement officers have captured the shooting suspect in Minnesota.
My prayers are with the families of Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and with Senator John Hoffman and his wife for a full recovery.

To pursue lasting peace in the region, Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.
The safety and security of civilian lives must be a top priority for all involved.

I am monitoring the situation in the Middle East and have deep concern over the gravity of this moment for our global security and the security of Israel.

Republicans just forced through a bill that takes money away from public TV and radio—programs that help educate our children and families. These are funds that the Trump Administration have illegally frozen for months.
I voted NO. Information cannot be reserved only for those who can pay for it.
An update from the Capitol this evening. The actions of this Administration should alarm every American. Not one person should face violence while they do their job.
We won’t stop doing our jobs and we won’t stop fighting for the American people.
Fear has no place in our democracy.
The Trump Administration is trying to keep elected officials from conducting oversight at public events on behalf of the people they represent.
No one should be physically assaulted while doing their job.
My friend @repbonamici.bsky.social is another incredible champion of gun violence prevention.
It is an honor to work alongside her to keep our students safe.

He has felt the impacts of gun violence on his own family and works to stop others from feeling the pain that we have.

Kicking off #WearOrange Weekend with a few of our congressional champions! 🧡
@mikethompson.house.gov is the Chair of our Gun Violence Prevention Task Force in Congress. He (and his orange socks!) never back down from the fight to make our communities safer.

First, @robinkelly.house.gov wears an orange ribbon for Hadiya Pendleton and those we've lost to gun violence. 🧡

All through Gun Violence Awareness Month, I'll be joined by my colleagues in Congress to share stories that motivate them to end gun violence.
Hear their stories and share your own! 🧡
Seems like a simple yes/no answer to me... do you stand by your decision or not?
Disabled students and their families in Georgia would like to know.
June is Gun Violence Awareness Month. We recognize the heartbreaking toll that gun violence has in our communities.
I continue my fight to end gun violence with common-sense solutions in honor of those we have lost—like my Jordan—and the families left broken.

The Trump Administration is dismissing consent decrees with local law enforcement agencies, effectively removing federal oversight of police departments accused of civil rights abuses.
@repsummerlee.bsky.social, @repjasmine.bsky.social, and @mcbath.house.gov are demanding the DOJ reverse course.
House Republicans pushed life-threatening budget cuts through in the middle of the night just to fall in line. They’re taking health care and food away from families.
I voted NO on behalf of my district.
