Today we celebrated the opening of the Crossroads Summer Street Apartments in Providence – 176 new permanent homes for Rhode Islanders.
This is a major step forward in tackling the housing crisis and making Rhode Island a more affordable place to live.
In these challenging and uncertain times, the United Way of RI continues to provide essential support to nonprofits, families and individuals in need. I enjoyed meeting with the UWRI team today and continue to be grateful for their work.
The 80% of Americans who want health care funding in the budget are not “terrorists”, they are every people who can’t afford for their premiums to double.
