As we celebrate the holidays, it’s a good reminder that time with friends and family doesn’t always have to be all about politics.

Wishing everyone in New Jersey and beyond a Merry Christmas and happy holidays! 🎄
Hope your day is filled with joy and much needed time with loved ones! 🙏🫶
One day Delaney Hall will be a relic of a dark period in our nation’s history.
Until then, we will always be in this fight - for you, for us, for the future of our country.
Thanks to Trump’s reckless tariffs, the cost of almost everything this holiday season has skyrocketed.
Trump is making life more expensive for working families. And while House Republicans stay silent, House Democrats are ready to tackle the affordability crisis.
What we saw inside Delaney Hall is the betrayal of the American Dream.
On my way back to Delaney Hall
In NJ, we stand up for each other. Our Muslim friends and neighbors are an essential part of the fabric of our communities and what makes Paterson - and our state - stronger. Rhetoric like this only fuels divison and puts people at risk. We must do better.
Paterson is one of New Jersey's most vibrant and diverse cities, and that's something we are proud of. Director Gabbard’s remarks about Paterson are false and deeply dangerous.
The Trump Administration will use immigration as a blunt tool to target anyone who stands up against their vision of America.
Watch what I had to say:
To our friends & neighbors who are experiencing a mental health or substance-related crisis: you are not alone, & there are resources available to you.
The holiday season can be a difficult time for many, especially our friends in the LGBTQ+ community. Please know that you are not alone & help is available.
People are dying in ICE custody and immigration detention centers across the country.
We won’t allow this Administration to go to church and pray on Sundays and then prey on our communities the rest of the week. We will hold them accountable.
Huge news! The redesigned Newark Bay–Hudson County Extension Improvements Program is a major step forward and includes some of the changes we proposed from the start.
Proud to support this project and thankful to our partners in government and labor for working together to move this forward.

TONIGHT AT 7: @jasmineforus.bsky.social joins to discuss her high-stakes race for Senate in Texas. Plus, @menendez.house.gov on ICE ramping up its violent tactics against civilians and a report into the deaths of multiple ICE detainees.
That's why I joined Reps. Jayapal & Fletcher in demanding answers after USCIS announced they would indefinitely pause the immigration process for nationals from the countries listed in Trump’s travel ban.
Denying naturalization ceremonies & canceling green card interviews for individuals who have waited years for this monumental achievement is a disservice for those who followed the law & passed every required check.
Such a privilege to work alongside @hudcostreets.org & so many advocates to make these changes a reality & we’ll keep working to make sure these upgrades deliver for our communities.
These investments means safer, more reliable transit across our region. See you on the PATH soon!
📍 Spending time with seniors at the Joseph Connors Senior Center in Jersey City
🎄 Our seniors are the heart of our community. Great stopping by to wish some of our favorite residents a happy holidays! I'll always protect our seniors and ensure they have the resources they need. 🫶
The Trump Administration has attempted to impede our lawful oversight authority to inspect conditions of private detention facilities. Today’s deeply disturbing news is exactly why oversight is essential.
Below is my statement on the reported death of an individual in detention at Delaney Hall:
Trump and DHS continue to lie to the American people.
House Democrats will keep holding this Admin accountable and standing up for our communities.
