Spanish-language media is crucial to informing and empowering our Hispanic communities in New Jersey and beyond.
Proud to join Rep. Bárragan in uplifting Spanish-language journalists, broadcasters, and entertainers for their contributions to American democracy and society.

Entering week 3 of a Republican-led government sh*tdown.
House Democrats are holding the line, fighting for you and your family. 🤝
📢 Join me for a Telephone Town Hall on Thursday, October 16th at 5:00PM to talk about the government shutdown, how it impacts our NJ communities, and what's at stake.
Your voice matters in this fight. Share your questions when you submit the RSVP form.

Behind the scenes of the next “Diner Talk” installment with @menendez.house.gov and Mayor Grilo. Talking with working people in New Jersey impacted by the freezing of the Gateway Tunnel Project funds and the government shutdown. More to come.
📍Columbus Day Parade in Jersey City
👋🏼 Appreciated the opportunity to connect with neighbors on key issues & see so many of you celebrating our strong & long-standing Italian-American community.
Thank you to all the organizers & congratulations again to all the honorees!

📍Ribbon cutting for Hudson County Schools of Technology & County Executive Craig Guy at Bayonne High School
✂️🎉 Honored to join Craig Guy & so many friends today as we celebrate the official opening of the new Craig Guy Center. Grateful to fight for Hudson County alongside you each & every day. 💪
My statement on the decision to pause construction of a gas-powered plant in the Ironbound:
7️⃣ Throughout our country’s history we have shown time and time again that there is no challenge we cannot meet when we join together.
Standing shoulder-to-shoulder we can bend the arc of the moral universe toward justice.
6️⃣ Whether it’s threats against our judiciary, militarizing our cities or restricting free and fair elections, we have to raise our collective voice.
Not as Democrats or Republicans but as Americans.
5️⃣ We cannot be silent in this moment.
We all must have a red line of what we will not accept when the Trump Administration overreaches and seeks to consolidate power.
4️⃣ That’s why her Nobel recognition is a call to action. In the United States, we must protect our own democracy just as fiercely.
We cannot allow what we have and have built over 249 years to slip away.
3️⃣ Their courage is a reminder to all of us: democracy is never guaranteed.
It survives only when people are willing to speak out and defend it every single day.
2️⃣ María Corina Machado and other brave Venezuelans have stood tall, refusing to give up on the promise of freedom and fighting for what they once had.
1️⃣ Once a healthy and thriving democracy, Venezuela has endured a steady erosion of its democratic institutions under authoritarian rule.
Congratulations to María Corina Machado, the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
Here’s why this moment matters—not just for Venezuela, but for all of us. 🧵
We will not relent in this fight. 🚁🔨
Six months ago, our community was shaken by a tragic helicopter crash on the Hudson that claimed six lives.
Since then, we’ve taken an all-hands approach with our local, county and state partners to find solutions that put the safety of our Hudson county communities first.
Meanwhile, House Democrats are holding the line, fighting to protect healthcare, lower costs, and build a stronger NJ - together.
41,000 people in Chris Smith’s district will see their health care costs go up.
27,000 people in Congressman Jeff Van Drew’s district will see their health care costs go up.
