I know that together we can move towards a better future for all and strive towards a more perfect union.
📍Dialogue Series in Newark w/ @replamonica.bsky.social
📢 Thank you to everyone who came out for our dialogue series! Every day it’s a privilege to serve alongside Rep. LaMonica McIver and, over the last two days, to share how we are fighting for our communities in the time of Trump.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. Looking forward to continuing our conversation today in Newark.
📍Dialogue Series last night in Jersey City
📢 Had an important conversation with @replamonica.bsky.social on the work we are doing in Congress to fight back against the Trump Administration and our plan to protect all those who call NJ home.
Productive conversation with Domestic Workers Alliance yesterday!
Thank you for being a partner in the fight to ensure these essential workers get the respect and workplace rights they deserve.

Just got done talking with Jersey City about what we’ve been doing to fight back against this administration and the work that’s ahead. Thank you to everyone who came out, it was great speaking with you and taking your questions! Newark, @menendez.house.gov and I will see you tomorrow!
Met with Art Pride NJ to discuss efforts to protect arts and culture funding during the time of Trump.
Grateful for their partnership as we work to keep the arts strong in our communities for years to come. 🎨🤝
The Trump Administration recently cut $2.75B in digital equity funding, including $20M for our NJ communities.
My NJ colleagues and I will keep fighting to restore this funding that our most vulnerable Americans rely on to thrive in today’s workforce.
If they can do this to workers who have served our country, they can do it to anyone.
My @laborcaucus.house.gov colleagues and I are in this fight with you. 🤝
The VA canceled union contracts for 400,000 workers - many of them veterans.
One more example of this Administration’s disrespect for American workers including veterans.
Team Menendez is on the move!
Bayonne – Congress is coming to your corner to help with casework, passports, and anything else you need from a federal agency. We hope to see you there!
We owe unwavering support to New Jersey's own 9/11 heroes who represent the very best of our nation.
Grateful to see Governor Murphy and NJ lawmakers extending the window to file for disability retirement benefits that 9/11 survivors and first responders earned.
I stand with my colleagues and will always support the work they do to uplift our communities.
We are united in fighting for a stronger future for everyone and blocking out the Republicans’ noise along the way.
Another BS move by the House GOP. First it was @replamonica.bsky.social, now it’s @ramirez.house.gov. Republicans keep trying to silence and punish anyone who takes a stand against Trump's harmful policies. Spoiler alert: it’s not going to happen.
Turkey’s ongoing aggression against our allies and deepening ties to Russia raise serious concerns.
That’s why I joined @repchrispappas.bsky.social in urging Secretary Rubio to uphold sanctions and keep Turkey out of the F-35 program. We must protect our security and stand with our allies.
Workers across America keep our country running.
Proud to see NJ's Teamsters standing up for fair compensation. They have the right to do so without harm or intimidation.
As a member of the Labor Caucus, that's what I'll always support. Your fight is our fight and we are in this - together.
📢 Join me and Rep. McIver for a conversation next week about our shared experiences and work fighting for our communities in the time of Trump.
📍 Jersey City – August 11 @ 6PM
️📍 Newark – August 12 @ 2PM

60 years ago, the VRA was signed into law to end racist barriers at the ballot box.
Today in Texas, Republicans are attempting to redraw maps to silence the voices the law was meant to protect.
We can't stop fighting. It's time to pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
📍Tour of the bay with the Army Corps of Engineers, Port Authority, NJ Dept. of Environmental Protection, and others!
📢 Great to be with so many stakeholders to discuss the future of the region, important projects ahead and all that we can do on resiliency and beyond!
