Huge congrats to South Jersey’s Congressional App Challenge winners! 🎉 Haddonfield Memorial students, David Watts and Patrick Oberholzer, created Draftly, a smart app that brings handwritten & digital notes together in one easy place. Learn more about their app here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXP8...
South Jersey has so many great places we sometimes forget about. Do you have a favorite #WhereInSouthJersey spot I should highlight in 2026?
Send an email to whereinSJ@mail.house.gov with your favorite photo and a short description of the place for a chance to be featured on my social media page.
By working with the community, the county has made incredible progress, including an over 50% reduction in overdose deaths since 2023 and a 40-year low crime rate in Camden city. They have invested in workforce training, parks and recreation, and delivered for the families of South Jersey.
I was in Camden County earlier this week to celebrate the swearing-in of our newly elected officials.

I am on my way to the Capitol to vote YES on restoring the Affordable Care Act tax credits. Everyone deserves access to quality, affordable care.
Political violence is never acceptable.
Today marks 15 years since a gunman tried to assassinate former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords in Tucson. Six people were killed and 19 were shot. We owe it to them to stand up for peace, decency, and democracy.
Today I’m voting to restore the Affordable Care Act tax credits, something that should have been done months ago, and lower healthcare costs for working families. Premiums are already too high & families are struggling to make ends meet. It’s on Republicans to decide whose side they’re on.
I’m grateful for @hoyer.house.gov's leadership, his partnership, and his lifelong commitment to public service. I wish him and his family all the best in the years ahead.
Throughout his career, Leader Hoyer has been a strong ally of organized labor, and we worked together to highlight how clean energy projects can create good-paying union jobs.
Leader Hoyer helped guide the Americans with Disabilities Act through the House, a landmark law that expanded opportunity and improved accessibility for millions.
I want to thank @hoyer.house.gov for his decades of service to the people of Maryland and our country.
This loss demands action, and transparency is not optional when lives are on the line.
We should not need tragedies like this to know ICE agents nationwide must wear body cameras, which is why I introduced a bill to require all immigration enforcement officials to do so, just as police officers in New Jersey are already required to do.
President Trump and Kristi Noem are making reckless statements without credible evidence and rushing to judgment.
Today, a U.S. citizen was shot and killed in Minnesota by a masked ICE agent, and the bystander video of this horrific incident raises many questions about whether or not this officer took the proper course of action. There must be a full and transparent investigation.
Great to be in Deptford to celebrate the New Year and welcome newly elected leaders. Excited to keep working together across every level of government to deliver for South Jersey families, seniors, and veterans.
I’m standing with my colleagues to remember the 5 year anniversary of the January 6th insurrection. Together we stand with our first responders to remember the lives lost because of this attack.
Thanks to NJ’s Raise the Wage law, 2026 is starting with higher pay & stronger benefits for workers.
Minimum wage is now $15.92/hr w/ increased unemployment, disability, family leave & workers’ comp benefits for NJ workers. Glad to see NJ giving workers a good day's pay for a hard day's work.
