He’s a great option. (Disclaimer - I haven’t personally endorsed anyone in the race! He’s great though.)

We need a real organizer and machine builder. Laser focused.
Yes, fundraising is crucial, but we need someone who can build the infrastructure for resources to be deployed effectively.
I want someone with a record of knowing how to WIN with working people and preserving our values. They exist!
Yes they did!!

H.R. 9494, the attack on non-profits bill, has passed the house.
But it went from being supported by 52 Dems to just 15.
Time to get on your Senator's case and halt the bill there.
A lot of people are shocked by the “points on the board” phrase - as was I - but it was also shocking how common I heard this and other game-type metaphors.
Many who are deeply disconnected from the harm do view and talk about it privately as a kind of sport. It is gross 🤢
The culture here makes it possible.
After Jan 6th I privately confronted Mace for lying about my story bc she too was terrified in her office.
I said as another assault survivor you know how harmful what you did is. Why? She said “whatever you know it’s a game, just points on the board”
Uhh no???
Fwiw she is pretty widely disliked even by her GOP colleagues. She’s all over the place. Messy. Fights with them too.
This is the most attention she has gotten in ages despite her many attempts, hence the differences in tack some have taken in this whole brouhaha. She really craves it. It’s weird
Like Skype to Zoom
Yes! I am engaged in that and my campaign team is physically canvassing Trump/AOC precincts to talk to people and listen to what they have to say.
What makes this question hard to answer is the chaos of the Trump admin.
Project 2025 / Agenda 47 is real.
Preparation really depends on the issue (immigration, labor, gender, etc) but in general I would say deepening your community of trusted loved ones and emergency plans/contacts, etc.
I liked it!
I was surprised that there’s a beach in the middle of the city. It’s pretty cool! 🏖️
Because many in my district are genuinely & in good faith concerned about antisemitism they experience and need reassurance from their rep.
Just as our trans, Muslim, Black, immigrant, & other communities need that from me too.
There will never be a perfect vehicle so we choose which imperfect one
And yes you are correct, it wasn’t a bill - it was a resolution, which even makes it even more toothless.
It’s a trap vote designed to split the left. Vote against & you’re refusing to condemn the (real) rise in antisemitism, vote for it & it’s a squabble over 3rd degree acknowledgment IHRA exists
A subclause references a separate state dept guideline which noncommittally references IHRA (many degrees). It says EXPLICITLY that it is nonbinding.
Conservatives push these bills bc they are designed to get the left infighting while they move things like 9495. The timing isn’t a coincidence IMO
I really think it’s important that people read the text of this bill. Calling it an IHRA bill and implying that it’s codifying it is false. Look at the language of the bill for yourself - seriously.
That is a red line for me and I would NEVER vote for codifying IHRA.
Perhaps it’s not the most riveting answer but Sanitation issues are a big one. Landlord issues is maybe number 2.
Your city councilperson can do a lot! Like when they were rolling out the rat bins in NYC, sometimes areas that got them came down to those who asked! Good rep + ppl speaking up matters

I’ve been trying out the TWSBI Ecos lately. The larger reservoir is nice. As for ink I bounce around a lot of different ones and it’s often whatever is prettiest at Yoseka. Using a purpley one now that I need to find when I get home.
I’m left-handed so the slower drying inks are kind of a no-go
The sandy’s chocolate chip cookies go hard
I will be real with you. Things are not going to be pretty. But we will need - and have - each other.
