It’s DAY 23 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. If Republicans don’t extend health care tax credits, millions of people will become UNINSURED. But Donald Trump and House Republicans just pitched a fit and shut down the government because they’d rather do ANYTHING than lower costs for you.
It's DAY 22 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT.   House Republicans STILL refuse to meet and STILL refuse to make your health care more affordable, even though people are getting letters about their premiums soaring and face record high costs while shopping for insurance.
Today, I met with workers from the Social Security Administration who are diligently working without pay to keep Social Security benefits moving. Democrats are ready to negotiate to end this health care crisis so we can pay our public servants.
The Republican Shutdown is leaving THOUSANDS of public servants tirelessly working for the American people without a pay check. It's outrageous, and it's all because Republicans would rather strip health care from millions of working people than fund the government.
The Republican Shutdown is making it more difficult for you to renew your flood insurance. Your home's safety shouldn't be at risk because of Republicans screwing around in politics.
Republicans shut down the government and somehow decided that wasn’t enough pain. Now they’re freezing flood insurance while pushing cuts to your health care. You almost have to admire the consistency: if there’s a way to make life harder for ordinary people, they’ll find it.
It’s DAY 21 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. It’s now the second-longest government shutdown in AMERICAN HISTORY, and Republicans are sitting on their hands. Everything from your flood insurance to your holiday travel is being put at risk because they refuse to lower the price of your health care.
Date: Wednesday, October 29, 2025 Time: 4:00–6:00 PM Where: Ocean Place Resort located at 1 Ocean Boulevard, Long Branch, NJ 07740 Parking: Free parking is available at Ocean Place Resort or the Municipal Lot across the street on the corner of Broadway and Ocean Blvd.
Governor Murphy and RWJBarnabas are trying to CLOSE Long Branch's only acute care hospital. They want a rubberstamp—and we're not going to give them one. Next Wednesday, tell them what YOU think about it at a public hearing. Details below ⬇️
A new report finds Trump’s Big Ugly Bill included a massive $8.8 billion handout to Big Pharma that allows them to keep prices high for seniors for years to come by avoiding Medicare price negotiation. This is a sweetheart deal for Big Pharma companies at the expense of seniors.
It’s DAY 20 of the REPUBLICAN RETREAT. This is the THIRD LONGEST government shutdown in history, and Republicans SHOULD feel pressure to return to solve the health care crisis as insurance premiums soar. Instead, they refuse to negotiate and have fled Washington.
Let's set the record straight: thousands of people are being fired, journalists are being banned from conducting oversight, and billionaire media tycoons are kowtowing to the Trump Administration. He's made America the most unfree it's been in decades. #NoKings
