I am honored to lead my friends and colleagues, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, @pressley.house.gov, @gomez.house.gov, and @repcasar.bsky.social, in the introducing the Tenants’ Right to Organize Act, a historic measure to protect and expand the community power changing the landscape of housing for everyone.
Trump is attacking everything but the one thing he said he would: the cost of groceries.
Now, he's defunding Elmo and other educational programming that families rely on.
We must protect our public broadcasting and push back against this harmful, unlawful executive order.
Cruelty is the point.
Cutting these grants deny millions of children crucial support from mental health staff & after-school programs vital to their success.
We should be investing in MORE comprehensive, trauma-informed care, not leaving our students to suffer in silence.

Trump revoking Harvard's tax-exempt status is as unlawful as it is harmful.
This is an attack on Harvard's students and faculty, and threatens the intellectual contributions and life-saving research coming from their campus and labs.
It is outrageous and unconstitutional.

Thank you @pressley.house.gov for your ongoing leadership and commitment to fight for clemency for ppl serving unfair, long federal sentences. Read @fwd.us new research on the impact of these commutations: www.fwd.us/wp-content/u...
Thank you Hyde Square Task Force for the receipts!
Stop and Shop heeded our call to lower prices at their JP location—but it’s clear they're still ripping off families in other low-income and BIPOC neighborhoods.
I'm keeping up my push with @warren.senate.gov to demand answers & accountability.

Trump's executive order attacking the Smithsonian and attempting to whitewash our history is wrong & illegal.
@reppaultonko.bsky.social and I are demanding the Smithsonian Office of the Inspector General to investigate its harmful impact so we can protect the integrity of our museums.

Today marks the start of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
As a @capac.house.gov member, I'm proud to celebrate the history and contributions of such a vibrant community in the #MA7 and beyond.
Happy #AANHPI HeritageMonth!
60 years ago, our ancestors marched from Roxbury to Boston Common.
They marched to demand civil rights, human dignity, & our collective liberation.
I joined @embracebos.bsky.social, @officialmlk3.bsky.social, & our local leaders to honor their legacy & apply their lessons to the struggle today.
On #MayDay and every day: I'm proud to stand in solidarity with our siblings in the labor movement and workers across the globe.
Organized power is realized power.
Our destinies are tied.
Unions are essential.
And this Congresswoman values your labor AND your lives.
Republicans’ reconciliation bill would gut SNAP & increase food insecurity in the #MA7 & nationwide.
I asked my GOP colleagues if any of them are willing to vote NO and make sure that children, people with disabilities, & veterans don’t go hungry.
Their silence was deafening.
There's been a LOT going on in Trump's first 100 days.
So far, he's attacked everyone & everything EXCEPT the rising cost of living—and Republicans have been complicit.
I started a Substack to cut through the noise & update you on how I'm fighting back.

Republicans haven’t been listening to their constituents.
So I’m taking the mic to share stories like Mary’s, a nurse from Lisa McClain's district who says that gutting Medicaid will be devastating for her and her autistic son.
We must stop this cruel reconciliation bill before it's too late.
As Co-Chair of @reprocaucus.bsky.social, I’ll keep pushing for a just America where everyone can get the care they need, when they need it.
It only took Trump one week to dismantle reproductive health access.
We are now 100 days in & he’s launched a full scale attack by cutting funding, restricting access, & undermining health care at every level.
Trump & Republicans want to make devastating cuts to SNAP—a total of $230 billion over the next 10 years.
They want to rip food away from our babies & vulnerable families.
I’m joining @projectbread.org to call out this cruelty and fight back.

“The billions of dollars the CFPB has returned to consumers isn’t just a statistic. It’s a reality.” Thank you @ayannapressley.bsky.social for sharing these stories. The CFPB provides real solutions to real people who are mistreated by banks, predatory lenders & debt collectors.
