Formaldehyde continues to contribute to a public health crisis on Black women & girls.
By using products with this harmful chemical, they face higher risks of breast & uterine cancer.
We wrote to the FDA demanding answers on the continued delay in implementing its ban.

Chag Pesach Sameach!
Wishing peace and blessings to everyone in the #MA7 & around the world preparing for the first night of Passover.
May this be a time to gather, reflect, and share joy in community.
My constituent Rümeysa Öztürk was kidnapped by DHS officials, had her constitutional rights violated, & has yet to be charged with a crime.
I sat down with @theintercept.com to discuss Trump’s dangerous attacks on our students & immigrants, & how we're meeting this with resistance.

We chatted with @pressley.house.gov on challenging executive authority and the ICE abduction of Rümeysa Öztürk on the latest episode of The Intercept Briefing.
The FDA proposed a ban on formaldehyde that was scheduled for implementation.
But Trump froze all new regulations, leaving this rule in limbo.
It’s past time we take formaldehyde off the market, ban it in hair straighteners, & protect Black women & girls from this chemical.

Millions of people rely on Medicaid for cancer screenings, STI testing, birth control & more. But a Supreme Court case could take away their right to get care at Planned Parenthood health centers. @pressley.house.gov

While Trump & Republicans dismantle HHS and attack Black & brown folks, we need an affirmative agenda that addresses racism as the public health crisis that it is.
My Anti-Racism in Public Health Act with @warren.senate.gov is the type of responsive legislation this moment demands.
Don’t get it twisted.
Republicans' SAVE Act is an undemocratic voter suppression bill that makes it harder to vote for service members, married women, rural voters, folks of color, & millions of other US citizens.
I voted NO.

For so many asylum seekers, CBP One was the only legal pathway to safety & stability.
Repurposing the app for self-deportation in order to circumvent due process and the legal rights of those who migrate here is deplorable & unconscionable.
The cruelty is the point.

My heart breaks for all the lives lost inside Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo.
I pray for the victims, first responders, those still missing, and our Dominican siblings in Massachusetts and on the island.

We'll discuss how Democrats are fighting the Musk-Trump agenda and standing strong for Medicaid patients, immigrant families, & reproductive freedom.
Republicans want to repeal the CFPB's cost-saving and life-changing rule to cap bank overdraft fees at just $5.
This will harm our most vulnerable consumers the most.
It’s a shame that Republicans are attacking poor people just to help greedy bank CEOs get richer.
While Trump fires federal workers & sparks a trade war that'll raise costs, he gave the US Trade Representative two other jobs meant to protect those workers & enforce ethics.
This is a conflict of interest & Jamieson Greer must resign from those roles immediately.

Schools should be a place for students to learn & thrive—not be policed & criminalized.
With Republicans attacking education & vulnerable students, I'm reintroducing my bills to invest in safe, nurturing learning environments for all.
Every student has a right to learn in a setting free from fear.
This is our chapter of the Civil Rights Movement. #HandsOff
#HR40Reparations is about truth, reconciliation, and accountability for the structural injustices that continue to ravage Black communities.
I sat down with @northeasternu.bsky.social’s Center for Law, Equity and Race to discuss action steps as we continue our shared push for reparations.
I rose on the House floor to give Ms. Alfreda Harris her well-deserved flowers.
A living legend, mother of movements, & a champion for everyone who calls Boston home.
She is a source of inspiration for many & has not stopped being a history-maker.
We love you, Ms. Harris!
