Companies are raising prices because of Trump’s tariff tax and it’s hurting families. And what does Trump say about it? “Eat the tariffs.” Maybe it’s hard for Trump to hear everyone's concerns from inside his luxury Qatari jet.
This is disgusting The Trump admin is disrespecting the Capitol Police by awarding $5 MILLION to the family of Ashley Babbitt AN INSURRECTIONIST This sends a sickening message to police and first responders When it matters most, Trump will turn his back on you
Trump taking this Qatari plane is a national security threat and a bribe. And I’m introducing legislation to stop the Defense Department from spending a single penny on it.
It's pretty rich for Donald Trump to tell retailers that they have to “eat the tariffs” Meanwhile he’s accepting luxury planes and crypto deals in the Middle East Donald Trump does more to help himself than to help America
NEWS: Because we fought for it, Trump just finally lifted his stop-work order for Equinor’s Empire Wind off Long Island. Many thousands of good-paying jobs Billions of dollars already invested Clean and affordable power for Long Island homeowners and businesses
Equinor’s Empire Wind is a major offshore wind project in NY But Trump suddenly issued a stop work order without justification Good jobs Billions spent All on hold Trump claims to want energy dominance but this is all just because of a gripe he has about offshore wind and his Scotland golf course
I’m introducing a bill to prohibit any foreign aircraft from being used as Air Force One It'll prohibit DoD from using funds to procure or modify foreign aircraft for presidential flights Retrofitting the Qatari plane would cost billions and could never even truly eliminate all catastrophic risks
The only logical decision. Of course it’s against the law in America to pick up someone off the street and send them to a foreign prison without due process. Trump can’t be allowed to shred our laws, Constitution, and our legal right to due process. Today it’s immigrants. Tomorrow it could be you.
A headline from CNN reads: “Supreme Court blocks Trump from restarting Alien Enemies Act deportations”
Trump says he cares about combatting antisemitism, meanwhile he keeps hiring, enabling, and empowering dangerous antisemites and white supremacists. It must end. Now.
A headline from NPR reads: “Multiple Trump White House officials have ties to antisemitic extremists”
17 relatives of El Chapo Of the head of the Sinaloa Cartel—which the Trump admin designated as a terrorist organization in February That’s who “tough on the border” Trump just paroled right into America What, did the cartel offer him a gold-plated helicopter? It’s dangerous
By cutting SNAP benefits, Republicans are: Increasing hunger Increasing poverty Increasing costs for states and families Increasing the wealth of the ultra-rich That’s their idea of a “Big, Beautiful, Bill”
Republicans keep defending their SNAP cuts as "reducing fraud, waste, and abuse." Which category does a hungry child fall under? Are they waste? Are they fraud? Or are they abuse?
Donald Trump has no problem deporting U.S. citizens. But if you’re related to El Chapo, then Donald Trump says come right in! Republicans love to talk tough about border security, but where are they now? It's a total disgrace.
If Trump's tariffs are causing prices to go up at no fault of the retailer, consumers deserve to know My bill with @raskin.house.gov will require large retailers to display how much tariffs are contributing to the prices of their products These tariffs are just a tax hike on consumers
If a retailer as big as Walmart can’t escape the pain of tariffs, what chance does a small business have? Their customers are inevitably going to see prices rise. Donald Trump’s tariffs are nothing more than a tax hike on consumers.
Trump’s trade war strikes again. Walmart has just announced it will raise prices across America due to Trump's tariffs. His tariff chaos is eating away at retailers, restaurants, small businesses, and estimated to cost families thousands each year.
A headline from CNN News reads: “Walmart warns it will raise prices because of tariffs”
Donald Trump has once again launched an unprecedented attack on America’s working families. Donald Trump and Secretary McMahon are trying to raise monthly student loan payments. And Republicans in Congress are trying to push massive cuts to federal student aid.
Senator Schumer speaks at a Spotlight Hearing on Republicans’ attacks on public education, May 14, 2025.
Since Trump became president, nobody seems to have benefited more from Middle East deals than him: Golf courses by the beach Hotels in Dubai And now a $400M private jet from Qatar This is exactly why I issued a hold on all political DOJ nominees until we get answers.
Equinor’s Empire Wind is a major offshore wind project in NY But Trump suddenly issued a stop work order without justification Good jobs Billions spent All on hold Trump claims to want energy dominance but this is all just because of a gripe he has about offshore wind and his Scotland golf course
