We have confirmed more judges than the previous administration, something no one thought we could do!
In fact, we confirmed more judges than under any administration going back decades.
Working with President Biden, Senate Democrats have confirmed 235 judges—more than any majority has confirmed in decades.
This is historic!

I’m praying for those who were killed, those who were injured, their families, and all of New Orleans.
This attack was an unconscionable act of terrorism. We must do more to fight terrorism at home and abroad.

As we remember President Carter's extraordinary life—we also honor the countless lives he touched through his vision & generosity
My thoughts are with the Carter family and all those mourning this incredible man

Today, we mourn the loss of one of our most humble and devoted public servants, President Jimmy Carter.
President Carter personified the true meaning of leadership through service, through compassion, and through integrity.
From my family to yours, I’m wishing a Happy Hanukkah to everyone in the Jewish community kicking off the celebration of the festival of lights tonight in New York, across America, and around the world.

Merry Christmas across America!
Merry Christmas around the world!
Amazing News:

I’m honored to have fought for it alongside the Buffalo Bills’ Damar Hamlin.
There will be no government shutdown right before Christmas.
We will keep the government open with a bipartisan bill that funds the government, helps Americans affected by hurricanes and natural disasters, helps our farmers, and avoids harmful cuts.
No longer will public retirees see their hard-earned Social Security benefits robbed from them, thanks to this bill.
Millions of retired teachers and firefighters and letter carriers and state and local workers have waited decades for this moment.
Tonight, the Senate finally corrects a fifty-year mistake by passing the Social Security Fairness Act.
This Senate Majority has made history by confirming more qualified and historic judicial nominees than under any recent President—more than the Trump administration, more than any administration this century, more than any administration in decades.
Thanks to the hard work of this Senate Majority in confirming 235 qualified and historic judges, our courts are stronger. Our country is stronger. Our democracy is stronger. And that is something that every American can be proud of.
235 judges with experience as consumer protection lawyers, labor lawyers, voting rights experts, civil rights lawyers, federal prosecutors, public defenders, teachers, mentors, scholars, great Americans from every walk of life and legal practice.
One out of every four active judges on the bench has been appointed by this Majority.
Together these individuals are arguably the most qualified and historic nominees ever confirmed in a four-year span.
235 qualified and experienced and mainstream judges!
As I have said, the only way to keep the government open is through bipartisanship.
