When #DonaldTrump became president, there were 6.8 million Americans who were unemployed. As of the end of August, there were 7.4 million Americans unemployed, seeking work, and unable to find it.
That's 600,000 more Americans without jobs, an 8% increase.
#RFKjr should resign.
He shouldn’t have been nominated and confirmed in the first place.
“Right-to-work” means the right to be underpaid and overworked.
That's why today, @warren.senate.gov and I reintroduced the
Nationwide Right to Unionize Act to scrap these anti-worker laws across the country.

It’s corruption, plain and simple.
It didn’t take a judge to know that the #DonaldTrump L.A. troop stunt was illegal — but now a federal court has officially ruled it was unlawful.
Our streets aren’t a battlefield, and our communities aren’t props for his political theater.
Today, I signed the #EpsteinFiles Transparency Act to help expose the full truth behind Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal network along with the individuals involved.

This is one of the most profound expositions of what it means to be an American Jew, and our debt to this country and its veterans. I am very proud to have been a member of Rabbi Eddie’s congregation for thirty years.
On #LaborDay we celebrate the achievements of the labor movement and the resilience of workers everywhere.
As a member of the Labor Caucus, I’ll never stop supporting hardworking Americans in the fight for better wages, benefits and working conditions.
This weekend, for at least the 3rd time this month in my district, antisemitic graffiti targeted, intimidated and blamed Jews, including at my synagogue, Valley Beth Shalom. We can’t look away from what is happening. Freedom of religious expression, and the safety of an entire community is at stake.
The reality of 2025: every Jewish institution everywhere in the world is a target. Jewish institutions now spend more money on security than hiring teachers, providing daycare or counseling the bereaved. We clearly need more funds for nonprofit security grants. 1/2
Israel did not kill the Prime Minister of Yemen.
The Houthi are not the government of Yemen - they are a terrorist organization that is occupying Yemen and terrorizes ships of all nations in the Red Sea.
Thank God the #PalisadesFire was extinguished before Trump could fully take over immigration enforcement.
(Trump was inaugurated on January 20th, but did not fully effectuate his immigration policies during his first weeks in office.)

I joined federal & local leaders for the final debris removal in #PacificPalisades — a major step in recovery from one of the worst fire disasters in U.S. history. I'll keep pushing for full federal support until our communities get the resources they need. #PalisadesStrong (1/2)
#ICE has been doing the same across L.A. — aggressively targeting and intimidating workers, families, and entire communities.
Joined @friedman.house.gov, @padilla.senate.gov @schiff.senate.gov and members of the CA delegation demanding answers from DHS.
We need oversight. Now. (2/2)
I was there when #ICE immigration agents swarmed outside @governor.ca.gov Newsom’s public event earlier this month — armed, visible and sending a message.
This was not security. It was their latest intimidation tactic. (1/2)
My heart is with the families and community in Minneapolis after today’s tragic shooting. No words can ease the pain of lives lost and futures stolen.
Two children were killed and at least 17 people injured after a gunman opened fire during a Catholic school Mass, police say. The shooter is dead. Follow live updates.

(2/2) We discussed what it will take to turn this campus into a thriving, veteran-led community.
