I’m grateful that the USS George Washington will relieve the Lincoln and its crew, but this serves as a stark warning about what happens when we stretch our military so thin.

The conditions aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln do not make good on that promise. Food rationing. Sewage overflowing. No laundry. No hot water. Severe mental distress to the point some sailors have tried jumping overboard. All while maintaining 12–16-hour shifts in a combat zone.
We ask our sailors and their families to make incredible sacrifices. In return, we promise to move hell and high water to get them the support they need to carry out their operations.
Strip it down to the studs.
Masks covering their faces. Little or no visible identification. Unmarked vehicles. Guns. And as if that wasn’t enough, ICE is now getting electric-shock gloves straight out of a dystopian sci-fi novel.
As Americans struggle with rising costs and high gas prices, this is how Trump is choosing to spend taxpayer dollars. His priorities are clear.

The White House normally gets $2.5 million a year for maintenance. Trump’s team has allocated $875 million.
That’s 350 years’ worth of the usual budget spent by a single administration.
My heart breaks for the firefighter who tragically lost their life near Ely while assigned to fight the Boundary Waters wildfires. I’m holding their family, friends, and all first responders in my heart as they grieve. Minnesota is eternally grateful for your service.
We’ve always known Todd Blanche won’t stand up to the President. The real question has been whether or not Republicans who know better would say enough is enough. His confirmation is maddeningly unsurprising.
Not to mention while all of this is happening, we pay the price at the pump.
These defensive missiles can’t just be restocked at a moment’s notice, considering they take at least two years to build. The President is putting our national security at risk for his reckless and unpopular war.
The Trump Administration is churning through our military’s limited supply of Patriot missiles faster than they can resupply, all for an unpopular war in the Middle East.
We’re going to fight back in the courts, and when we take back power, we need to be ready to pass my Stop Comstock Act to make sure no administration can abuse this zombie law ever again.
They grew quieter about their next moves after the fierce public backlash in the wake of the Dobbs decision, but we knew the Trump Administration wouldn’t rest until every woman in America was subject to an abortion ban, including in states where abortion rights are protected by state law.
Todd Blanche made clear in these secret calls with anti-choice activists that he wants to resurrect the Comstock Act – an antiquated anti-vice law from before women had the right to vote – to ban sending medication abortion in the mail.
Republicans will likely do what they always do and confirm Blanche as Attorney General despite all of this, and once again, women across America will pay the price.
NEW: Amid AG confirmation battle, Todd Blanche assured anti-abortion activists that he's working to make Dobbs 'permanent in every single state.' Admin will act 'soon' to limit mail-order abortion drugs. w/ @alicemiranda.bsky.social

TODD BLANCHE: Rest assured that we’re working hand in hand with HHS and the FDA and the White House and President Trump’s team to get permanent solutions so that the Dobbs decision becomes permanent in every single state.
A system that penalizes people for following its rules is fundamentally broken. ICE needs to be stripped down to the studs.
He defended the insurrection and the President’s hush-money payments. He has been and will always be a Trump loyalist. He’ll put the President’s interests over the interests of the nation and should not be confirmed.
