From electric cars to solar panels to smartphones, we rely on critical minerals every day. Right now, China has a firm grasp on the global supply—putting our economic and national security at risk. I’m leading my bipartisan SECURE Minerals Act to change just that.
The President claimed his illegal tariffs were put in place to protect American businesses—but ask anyone on Main Street and they’ll tell you the exact opposite is true. Small businesses have been crushed under the weight of President Trump's illegal tariffs—costing them billions.
The Trump Administration’s decision to close research facilities at Bartlett Experimental Forest undermines long-running research and threatens our forest-based economies. Senator Hassan and I joined local stakeholders to discuss how to fight for our forests.
No one should be paying hundreds of dollars for their life-saving insulin. My bipartisan INSULIN Act will ensure this is the case—capping insulin costs at just $35 per month to deliver real financial relief to those living with diabetes.
NH food pantries are essential—serving as a reliable source of nutrition for Granite Staters struggling with high costs. President Trump's decision to cut SNAP benefits is having a real impact on these organizations and on hardworking families already struggling to afford groceries.
$205. That’s the added cost New Hampshire families paid to heat their homes in March thanks to the President's war in Iran. I’m fighting to lower costs for my constituents, but our President’s actions are doing just the opposite.
President Trump went to war against Iran with no clear strategy, no clear objectives and no clear endgame. This recklessness is fueling a global energy crisis, spiking inflation and slowing economic growth—and the longer it continues the worse it will get for the American public.
Republicans took away your health care to pay for tax breaks for our nation’s wealthiest. Now, our worst fears have come true: premiums have become unaffordable, insurance coverage is out of reach for too many Americans and hundreds of hospitals could be closing.
On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we mourn and remember the over 6 million Jewish lives that were horrifically taken during the Holocaust. We must stand strong against antisemitism—denouncing hate wherever and whenever we see it.
We know that education is fundamental to prosperity and economic growth—and that starts with affordable child care. That’s why I’ve spent my career fighting for investments in child care and early education, including expanding public kindergarten as Governor of New Hampshire.
Big Wind Day has arrived! 92 years ago, the Mount Washington Observatory recorded a wind speed of 231 mph—the highest ever recorded on Earth. As all Granite Staters know, the weather can get a bit extreme in NH, and this record-breaking event is a testament to that fact.
It’s clear: State-level abortion restrictions drive reproductive health care providers away, creating shortages that endanger lives. The relentless attacks on abortion and reproductive health care must end.
Keene State is a leader in precision optics training, preparing students with the training they need to excel in this high-skill industry. On Wednesday, it was great to see firsthand how federal funding I helped secure is being used to expand this important program!
Rather than coming to the table and negotiating with Democrats, Republicans refused to extend the ACA enhanced premium tax credits. The result: Spiking premiums that are squeezing American families when they can least afford it.
