Politicians in both parties have told Michigan workers for 30 years that cooperation with the Chinese Communist Party will mean more jobs and higher paychecks. But we know what happens in reality because we've lived it: millions of our manufacturing jobs shipped overseas. Ban Chinese cars.
I asked Michigan law enforcement leaders what should happen in Minnesota. The response is clear: the officer in question should be put on administrative leave, and there should be an independent investigation. That hasn't happened yet, and the American people need to know why not.
We've all seen the video with our own eyes, and the American people need answers about what is going on in our streets. Secretary Noem needs to come before Congress and have that conversation with the American people.

This weekend there was a brazen act of hatred and antisemitism against Beth Israel Congregation in Jackson, Mississippi. This historic synagogue, the largest and only Jewish house of worship in Jackson, is not merely a building. It is the heart of a community.
