As we continue to learn more about what happened today, I hope Grand Blanc knows the outpouring of support they are receiving from across the country and the world. (1/4)

The Grand Blanc Police Department is offering counseling services starting tomorrow at 8:00 AM for anyone in need. These services were very important in communities like Oxford and East Lansing, so please avail yourselves of them if you’re in need.

For now, some resources for the community:
If you are searching for a loved one, please call 248-705-7352. This hotline connects directly to the Red Cross, who can assist in locating family members.

Details continue to emerge about the senseless tragedy in Grand Blanc today. It’s so important that we all take a breath and let law enforcement do what they do best: methodically uncover why and how the shooter could possibly get to the point of such a gruesome attack on a house of worship.

My statement on the unspeakable tragedy in Grand Blanc.
Every time costs go up, you see a bigger population of people become homeless. One of the things I spend an unbelievable amount of time on is playing defense on cuts to federal money that help cities like Detroit.
Release the Homan files.

Competitive bidding for government contracts ensures taxpayers get the best deal. Given the concerning allegations about Tom Homan's bribery investigation, Committee Democrats are pressing Sec. Noem to release information on whether he may have unfairly influenced DHS contracts.

White House official Tom Homan allegedly accepted a $50,000 BRIBE from undercover agents in exchange for securing future federal contracts. Committee Democrats are pressing Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the documents after Trump's DOJ closed the investigation.
If video exists of Tom Homan accepting a bag of $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents, it should be released. As a member of the Homeland Security Committee, I want to know if he’s trading Homeland contracts in exchange for enriching himself. www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...
I’ve gone to the big chains, like Kroger, and talked to them about bringing their stores to Detroit. We need policies that support urban ag and bring grocery stores to the city.

Sens. Warren, Slotkin call for ethics probe into Trump-linked crypto dealings

This triggered a letter from two Democratic Senators, demanding an investigation into the deals, which they say "reveals that Mr. Witkoff and Mr. Sacks were in positions to control government decisions to personally enrich themselves – even as they created significant national security concerns."

We depend on foreign imports for nearly all of our potash and fertilizer needs, which means U.S. farmers and shoppers are at risk of major supply chain disruptions. Our bipartisan effort is working to ensure we can feed ourselves, by ourselves.
If you want my vote, come talk to me about health care.
If you are a federal law enforcement officer and you are wearing a mask, hiding your identity, that is fundamentally un-American.
We can’t allow ourselves to become numb to this type of corruption. That's why @warren.senate.gov and I are calling for investigations into whether President Trump's top aides are personally profiting off of deals that should *only* benefit the American people.
