From my family to yours, happy Passover to all who celebrate. At our Seder, we left an empty chair for the hostages, missing their second Passover.
Hoping this year that everyone remembers the bitter and rejoices in the sweet surrounded by family and friends.

I oppose the SAVE Act, a bill where if you have changed your name or don't have a passport you may be turned away from voting. It makes it harder for the 80% of married women who have changed their name, and the 60% of Michiganders who don't have a passport to vote. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLXC...
Chinese vehicles have not yet arrived on our shores, but they have eaten up market share in Europe and Mexico — and their collection of American data is a national security threat.
Today I introduced my first official bill as a U.S. Senator. It will ban Chinese vehicles from entering the U.S. and ban Chinese parts that transmit Americans' personal data back to Beijing.
Today I introduced my first bill in the U.S. Senate, and its to ban Chinese vehicles in the U.S. market.

One of the most important features of our military is its apolitical nature. We must ensure it stays that way. youtu.be/eypZt91IS6w
Keeping sensitive American land out of the hands of our adversaries – like China, Iran, and North Korea – is critical. Our bipartisan bill builds on my work in the House and helps to stop land purchases that pose an actual risk to our national security.

With outages lasting sometimes up to a day, it makes no sense why Elon Musk & DOGE are planning massive cuts to tech staff at the Social Security Admin.
First, it was phone service & building closures — now this?
It's clear they're coming after your benefits.

Working alongside the military, I learned every mission starts with a plan: the goal, the ways to achieve it, and the resources. That stuck with me.
I was glad to discuss this at the Bas Blue Women's Summit in Detroit last week, an event meant to highlight how women leaders can grow & thrive.
What's keeping me up at night? Elon Musk and the Administration's chaotic behavior around Social Security cuts and how it will impact 1.6 million Michiganders.
His service and sacrifice serve as an example to us all.
Staff Sgt. Troy S. Knutson-Collins of Battle Creek served honorably in the Army for the last seven years, and this week we learned of his tragic death during a training accident in Lithuania.
Yesterday, his remains came home during a dignified transfer at Dover Air Force base.
My Republican colleagues like to say they are pro-defense, pro-patriot, pro-America, and pro-flag.
If that's true, then stand up for our uniformed military officers who served 30 years. Don't let them go down in flames because you are scared.
No matter how you slice it, paying for mail delivery in the most rural areas is not economical. So rural service will get screwed in this kind of a plan.
This morning we learned that a well-known white nationalist met with the President and convinced him to fire several qualified generals for no reason.
My concern is that this is the new normal. And that service to country no longer means anything to those in power.
There is some magic math going on from beginning to end on this Republican budget package.
And don't be fooled. They are coming for your health care.

I am again going to the floor of the Senate to talk about the alarming cuts to the VA and what I see as red flags from this Administration on national security.

Tune in! I am going to the floor of the Senate to talk about how your health care is under threat, and how we must protect Medicaid and Medicare from unnecessary cuts that will bring real harm to Michigan.

At best, President Trump’s blanket actions today seem set to inevitably raise costs for Michiganders. At worst, they further us down the road to recession.
Neither of these options are one Michiganders can afford.
