Dina Titus

Alice Constandina "Dina" Titus is an American politician who has been the United States representative for Nevada's 1st congressional district since 2013. She served as the U.S. representative for Nevada's 3rd congressional district from 2009 to 2011, when she was defeated by Joe Heck. Titus is a member of the Democratic Party. She served in the Nevada Senate and was its minority leader from 1993 to 2009. Before her election to Congress, Titus was a professor of political science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She was the Democratic nominee for governor of Nevada in 2006.

We have already returned over $1.25 million in the first quarter of 2025 to constituents in VA, Social Security, Medicare, and other benefits. Team Titus will continue delivering for the folks #OnlyinDistrictOne.
I spoke at the Las Vegas Sphere’s Second Annual XO Student Design Challenge. I highlighted the importance of the Sphere’s sustainability efforts and congratulated the eight student finalists on their artwork being exhibited.
I attended the grand opening of the Dolores Huerta Resource Center in North Las Vegas. The new center will offer a variety of resources in English and Spanish including tutoring services, legal support, technology trainings, workforce development, and healthcare.
I participated in UNLV’s Office of Undergraduate Research Policy Discussion where I described my work as a Member of Congress and discussed some of my policy priorities with over a hundred students.
