Happy National Truck Driver Appreciation Week! These folks drive our economy forward. I support the Truck Parking Safety Improvement Act, ensuring that our truckers have safe places to park and rest.
Probably my most exciting interview. Robert Redford was a hero on screen and an inspiration in real life working to protect the environment. May he rest in peace.
Your voice matters! Make sure that your voter registration is up to date. #NationalVoterRegistrationDay
Thanks to the Republican BS Budget, Americans are especially worried about their healthcare. The proposed partisan CR does nothing to relieve folks of this stress and address increased costs.
This month is National Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrating the rich heritage of our Hispanic community in Southern Nevada.
It’s also Mexican Independence Day! To celebrate, check out some of our local spots #OnlyinDistrictOne.

My mother Betty Titus passed away yesterday at the age of 95. She was a proud Southern Democrat and cherished being called Mama Titus by so many of you. Smile when you think of her.
Today we honor those impacted by the 9/11 attacks, including the nearly 3000 lives lost.
We recognize the heroes who served selflessly during this horrible event, and we are grateful every day for our brave law enforcement and emergency response personnel.
I am proud to recognize National Hispanic-Serving Institutions Week. We must stand up for our Hispanic community #OnlyinDistrictOne while POTUS attacks these critical institutions of learning and opportunity.
Eighty percent of our transit riders rely on buses to get to work and back. Reliable public transit is critical to both their health and their livelihoods.
I am introducing legislation that will allow RTC of Southern Nevada and other transit agencies to increase the number of spare buses they can put into service during bus breakdowns, including those due to extreme heat.
Now is not the time to add additional fees and requirements that will further discourage international travel to the United States.
International travel is down, and now POTUS is implementing a new $250 visa fee. I demand Sec. Noem and POTUS withdraw this policy, especially as we approach the World Cup and Summer Olympics.
Throughout the next ten years, over 10 million people will lose their healthcare coverage because of POTUS’s BS Budget. I joined Care in Action Nevada and Indivisible Las Vegas calling out Trump and his policies leaving Americans sicker and without the help they need.
No rebrand will change the fact that the Republican Budget is BS. POTUS and House Republicans are slashing safety net programs like Medicaid and SNAP and are hurting every day, hardworking Americans.

This month, all eyes are on September 30th, the deadline for Congress to pass a government funding bill. #TitusTalk
Today, more than 600 colleges and universities including UNLV and Nevada State are designated as HSIs, representing nearly one-fifth of all higher education institutions and graduating two-thirds of Hispanic students nationwide.
POTUS and Education Secretary McMahon must defend the Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) grant program.
As the Hispanic population expands, so too does the need for strategic and consistent investments in higher education.
As a member of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, I am urging Speaker Johnson to do more than just thoughts and prayers. We need concrete legislative action to address this gun violence epidemic.
I am pleased to see that the bipartisan FEMA Act includes several provisions from bills that I authored to give survivors a better deal in the wake of a natural disaster.
I will continue working with my colleagues to deliver critical resources for Southern Nevada.
This year, the Capitol Christmas Tree is coming from Nevada, and one lucky Nevada 4th grader has the chance to light the tree! You can enter the contest at the link below:
