I commend County Executive Ball & local leaders in Howard Co for working to block ICE's attempt to set up another detention facility in Maryland. We saw the inhumanity of ICE's operation in Baltimore & Marylanders have made clear: we do not want these facilities in our state.
Last week, I told Secretary Rubio that he was part of the most corrupt Admin in American history. They are selling American security, prosperity, & innovation to enrich the Trump family & his billionaire buddies. They must be held accountable for this blatant grift.
Foreign countries are bribing our president to sell out the American people.   Trump family businesses made $187 MILLION from this deal, and just months later he gave the UAE some of our most top-secret AI tech.   They are selling our national security to the highest bidder.
Where the hell is the "Board of Peace?” Over 500 Palestinians have been killed since the “ceasefire.” This comes days after the IDF itself admitted the Palestinian death toll is over 70,000.  The use of American taxpayer-funded weapons makes us complicit.  Stop the slaughter.
Arresting journalists doing their jobs, sending the DNI to raid election offices in GA, unleashing fed agents that kill Americans & then cover it up. Trump’s authoritarian takeover is quickening. We must respond like the people of Minneapolis —peacefully but with fierce urgency.
Important update: a federal judge has ruled that Russ Vought & OMB were breaking the law & must tell the public exactly how they are spending (or not spending) funds appropriated by Congress. I wrote this law years ago to ensure transparency and accountability.
BREAKING: A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to reveal how it apportions taxpayer money, including information it apparently tried to hide through spend plans in footnotes. This is a huge win for transparency and accountability!
Today, Secretary Rubio told us that Trump didn't tip off his buddies in the oil & gas industry about his invasion of Venezuela. Trouble is, Trump literally admitted on camera to doing just that. What else are they hiding about this corrupt, illegal operation?
Violent settlers in the West Bank are burning Palestinian villages & beating residents with impunity. These attacks have been met w/ silence from the Trump Admin & Netanyahu govt. US taxpayers shouldn't be giving the Netanyahu govt an annual $3 billion blank check for weapons. (1/2)
THE TIMES OF ISRAEL

Several Palestinians reportedly wounded during settler attacks in southern West Bank

PA’s news agency says assailants stole 150 head of livestock from one village, as its health ministry reports that a man severely hurt by gunfire in clashes with IDF died of wounds
I'm relieved @repilhan.bsky.social is okay after she was attacked at her town hall last night. But Trump’s response was shameful — & Republicans should say so. His baseless & racist attacks against her have no doubt endangered her. His inability to condemn the attack is appalling.
On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the more than 6 million Jews — and millions of others — who were murdered by the brutal Nazi regime. May their memory be a reminder that we must fight antisemitism, hatred, & bigotry in all their forms. Never Again.
Trump's ICE just purchased a warehouse in MD for $100M to hold 1,000+ detainees. Last week, I joined Marylanders demanding that ICE stay out. This Admin is spitting in the face of communities from Minneapolis to Maryland & wasting our tax dollars. We won't back down. (1/2)
UPDATE: After seeing this video, I informed ICE of my intent to visit the Baltimore facility today. I was told I would be denied entry. It’s clear Trump's ICE would rather engage in a cover up. I will not stop pressing until we get answers. We need transparency & accountability.
Like many of you, I have seen this video, and I'm demanding answers. My team has reached out to ICE repeatedly and have yet to get clear answers. [1/2]
Trump's ICE just killed 2 Americans in 2 weeks. Americans are demanding action. How did Senate Republicans respond? By threatening a partial govt shutdown if we don't give ICE another blank check. They'd rather hold govt hostage than ensure accountability for these killings.
Such mistreatment would be further evidence of the inhumane conditions at the Baltimore Holding Facility — something I have repeatedly called them out on. We will continue investigating & update when we know more. [2/2]
