When Republicans passed their One Big Beautiful Bill they said it wouldn’t impact our most vulnerable. Now they’re eating their words. At a time when prices are out of control, 770,000 children have lost food assistance, all so billionaires & corporations can pay less in taxes.
$12 million. That's how much taxpayer money the Trump Administration spent to rehire the same federal workers they'd previously fired. Talk about waste, fraud, and abuse – this Administration commits all three on a daily basis.
Students with disabilities are students first. This illegal change will worsen outcomes & delay civil rights protections.   The Dept of Education had decades of expertise helping kids learn according to their unique needs.   Walking away from IDEA in its 50th year is plain cruel.
Back in February, I asked a Trump nominee about this EXACT possibility & he dodged my questions. Just as I said back then, this whole process is corrupt to its core. Trump's admin is effectively trying to boost his own family's tainted crypto company. Unprecedented corruption.
This is unprecedented. A company owned by the President's family, is seeking approvals from a federal agency over which the President has total control — including to hire & fire the people granting approvals. The company, the deal, the entire process is corrupt to the core.
“Do you want to put federal employees in trauma?" should be an easy question for anyone overseeing our federal workforce. But today, this Trump nominee couldn't answer it. This admin's disdain for civil servants hurts all Americans by undermining their ability to serve us all.
Today, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope leaves NASA Goddard for the Port of Baltimore to begin its journey to the Kennedy Space Center. This August, Roman will launch into space, broadening our understanding of our solar system & universe. Excited to see it on the move!
This purchase and approval is the result of inappropriate interference by the Trump Admin on behalf of Trump's billionaire buddies.

The consolidation we're seeing in the media space is a threat to free speech. State Attorneys General must keep investigating these transactions.
One day after Trump’s lawless ICE operation traumatized kids on school grounds in Baltimore, we learn they’re harassing DMV-area nonprofits for information about immigrant CHILDREN. This does nothing to make us safer. No child should live in fear of ICE’s violence.
New data shows Trump’s refusal to extend ACA tax credits could lead to 5 MILLION people losing care this year.   Meanwhile, he’s spending your tax money on his Iran war & defense contracts for companies he's invested in.   He said it: he's not thinking of anyone else’s finances.
I warned the Trump admin of this exact eventuality.   Their actions combined with FIFA's ridiculous pricing schemes have discouraged fans from coming to games & now, one day before kickoff, ~180K tickets remain unsold.   Our local businesses are being shortchanged. www.ft.com/content/ac26...
The Trump Admin admits that its projections of how many tourists would come to the US after he took office were way off. Now World Cup fans are picking games in Mexico & Canada over the U.S. & it’s not hard to guess why. He is driving people away and hurting our economy.
Inflation is at its highest level since 2023. Gas prices are above $4 per gallon. Groceries get more expensive every week. The President may love it but the American people sure as hell don't.
Reporter: Are you concerned, Mr. President, about the latest inflation number which came out this morning? Trump: No, I love it. I love the inflation.
Trump may not care about Americans' financial situation, but his illegal war is hurting working people every day. Inflation is at the highest level since 2023 & prices on everything from gas to groceries have gone up. This war is making us less safe & worse off. We must end it.
Trump again refused to say his slush fund is dead. He also refused to say payouts shouldn't go to people who beat up our Capitol Police on Jan 6.

To every Republican who voted against my amendment to stop payments to those convicted of heinous crimes, what’s your excuse now?
I just offered an amendment to prevent anyone convicted of heinous crimes — from attacking law enforcement to molesting children — from getting money from Trump's taxpayer financed slush fund. Republicans blocked it. All to please the Dear Leader. It's sick.
