The Trump Admin admits that its projections of how many tourists would come to the US after he took office were way off. Now World Cup fans are picking games in Mexico & Canada over the U.S. & it’s not hard to guess why. He is driving people away and hurting our economy.
You and your neighbors should not be subsidizing the electricity needs of a data center run by a trillion-dollar corporation.   My Power for the People Act would force Big Tech to pay for their own power needs. We should pass it today to protect consumers from rising costs NOW.
Yesterday, journalist Amal Khalil was struck by an IDF airstrike while she was reporting in southern Lebanon. As rescuers tried to save her life, they were fired upon.

Khalil is the 9th journalist killed by Israeli strikes in Lebanon this year. [1/2]
Last year, Trump & Republicans cut Medicaid & the ACA by $1 TRILLION under the guise of "fighting fraud."

Yet Trump has issued 15 pardons to healthcare execs & others who defrauded $2 BILLION from taxpayers.
Kicking millions off their care while actual fraudsters get off free.
The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is ready for launch! Once operational it will help us see further into the depths of our universe than ever before.   This revolutionary telescope was assembled by the team at NASA Goddard, right here in MD, ahead of schedule & under budget.
The last time Secretary Lutnick appeared before the Senate, I pressed him on his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. On Feb 27th, @merkley.senate.gov & I sent him a letter asking him for certain records and to answer questions. He did not respond. The American people deserve transparency.
Today, Senate Republicans once again made their priorities clear: instead of working to lower costs and making everyday life more affordable for Americans, they are hellbent on providing a blank check for Trump’s lawless ICE & CBP operations. My full statement:
Instead of focusing on priorities people care about, tonight Republicans are using a procedural end-run to get around the will of the American people & stuff ICE & CBP with billions more of your taxpayer dollars.
Today, Sec Bessent revealed that the Trump Admin plans to send BILLIONS of dollars to help other countries keep their economies afloat while ignoring needs here at home. Once again, the 'America First' president is focused everywhere except the wallets of working Americans.
Netanyahu says he’s 'saddened' by images of an IDF soldier defacing a crucifix in Lebanon. But if he truly cared about attacks against Christians, he’d end rampant settler violence against them in the West Bank & harassment in Jerusalem. Being sad isn't enough, DO SOMETHING!
The Pentagon budget is already bloated. It has repeatedly failed to pass an audit. And now Trump’s war is enriching defense contractors even more. We must not give Hegseth this huge slush fund. He has no idea what he is doing.
Let's be clear: The Trump Admin's vendetta against the SPLC is a sign of how impactful their work is. The SPLC has been at the forefront of exposing some of America's most notorious hate groups, like the KKK. The fact that the Trump Admin feels threatened by that speaks volumes.
During Trump's first year the NIH supported 2,700 fewer projects, including a 31% drop in projects with the word "women" in them. Trump's attack on science is undermining American innovation & more importantly, is an attack on Americans' health.
Once again, Trump is threatening war crimes against the Iranian people.    All this could be avoided if Republicans in Congress joined us in voting to end this illegal and costly war.    We will give them another chance this week. They must all be held accountable.
Israeli Defense Minister Katz said he wants to do in Lebanon what was done in Rafah.

I've seen firsthand how the Netanyahu government razed Rafah to the ground.

No American taxpayer dollars should be used to support this.
