Under guise of their so-called SAVE America Act, Trump & Republicans are trying to rig the midterm elections. If this was really about ensuring all Americans can vote, they would agree to guarantee that all citizens get a free ID. But that’s not their plan.
As Americans pay more at the pump, Trump lifted sanctions on both Russia & the Iranian regime so they will profit even more from higher oil prices caused by his war. He may be a self-proclaimed “genius” but it doesn’t take one to see this isn’t in our interest. End the war, NOW.
🚨U.S. to allow Iran to get ~14 billion dollars (!!!) in oil revenue
🚨This is a huge financial concession to Iran by the U.S.
🚨It is the first time U.S. is buying Iranian oil since 1996
🚨It's all happening in the middle of a war against...Iran
While the Iran war rages on & prices keep rising, Republicans have decided to use this pivotal weekend to try to make it harder for millions of Americans to vote. They're scared of running on their failed policies, so they want to rig the midterms in their favor.
I will not vote for another dime for Trump's war. This war is making us less safe. It's taken 13 American lives. Killed thousands of civilians. And is costing billions in taxpayer dollars. The best way to protect our troops, save lives, & end this war is to cut off funding.
Last August, Trump Jr.'s fund invested in Vulcan Elements, a start-up valued at ~$200M. In December, Vulcan got a $620M taxpayer funded loan from the fed gov. Now, Vulcan is worth ~$2 BILLION, ~10x what it was when Trump Jr.'s fund first invested. Stinks to high heaven.
US Taxpayers and Trump’s Son Are Backing the Same Rare-Earth Startup
The investments are transforming Vulcan Elements. But some Republicans are uncomfortable with state-sponsored capitalism.
In Nov. 2024, Trump Jr. joined Unusual Machines, a drone maker, as an "advisor.” In October, they won a big contract from the Army. On Dec. 3rd, Vulcan Elements, a start-up, got a $620 million loan from the DOD. You won't guess who invested back in August!
Republicans blocked our bill to fully fund TSA & their agents. This is the 8th time they've blocked our attempts to reopen TSA, FEMA, & other agencies outside of ICE & CBP at DHS. But they would rather hold these agencies hostage to give Trump's ICE & CBP another blank check.
$200 BILLION for a war of choice that Americans don't want and that isn't making us safer. This should be an absolute nonstarter.  The best way to end this war, protect our troops, save civilian lives, & rein in a lawless Administration is to cut off funding. I’m a hell no.
Today, we received another CLASSIFIED briefing on Iran, as this Admin refuses to hold public hearings w/ the war's real architects, like Rubio & Hegseth, b/c they want to hide the truth. The American people are watching the costs of this war of choice rise. They deserve ANSWERS.
This week, Senate Republicans are trying to ram through the so-called SAVE America Act, a bill designed to make it harder for certain citizens to vote in order to rig elections in their favor. This is a fraud masquerading as an election integrity effort. We can't let this pass.
In addition to the lives lost & the fact that it's making us less safe, the Iran war has cost $12 BILLION so far. With that we could provide: - Healthcare for 1.3 MILLION people, or - SNAP for 5.5 MILLION people, or - Universal pre-K for 900,000 kids How is this America First?
Trump promised to bring down prices on day 1. But prices are soaring & Americans are making very tough decisions to scrape by. From launching a multibillion-dollar war of choice to refusing to extend ACA tax credits, it's clear Trump never gave a damn about reducing your costs.
It’s been 24 days since the Supreme Court struck down Trump’s illegal tariff tax & he still has no plan for paying back the money he stole from American families. When are they going to see the $1,700 he owes them? Return the money, NOW!
Last month another American was killed in the West Bank, the 9th in just over 4 years. Israeli settler violence is out of control but the Trump Admin, like the Biden Admin before it, hasn’t gotten justice for any of these killings. Rubio & Huckabee: DO YOUR DAMN JOBS!
