This is a disgrace and it will cost lives. Sec. Kennedy seems determined to rollback our progress fighting deadly diseases because he can’t look beyond his own ideological agenda. He’s a threat to our health and must be fired immediately.
Happy Founders' Day to all my brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. This Founders’ Day, I was proud to introduce a resolution alongside Rep. Al Green to commemorate 119 years of Manly Deeds, Scholarship and Love for All Mankind! Here’s to 119 more.
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Bishop Reginald Jackson. A man of faith, a freedom fighter, and a friend. May his memory be a blessing and may his legacy inspire us to keep striving towards justice for all of God’s children.
We’re experiencing the worst measles outbreak in years. And it’s in no small part because Sec. Kennedy is casting doubt on vaccines. This kind of reckless rhetoric has consequences. Especially when it’s coming from the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Who is most likely to drop off insurance when rates more than double next year because of Republicans in DC? Healthy people. That sends the price of insurance UP across the board and leaves people uncovered. It’s a lose-lose.
1 million+ Georgians are logging on to the health care portal to see their rates for next year and are being forced to make impossible choices about how to pay for their insurance. I will not stop fighting to fix this health care crisis that Republicans in DC created.
