Happy Birthday to civil rights icon and patriot Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr! You’ve lived your entire life pushing our nation to live up to its highest ideals and creating the beloved community Dr. King envisioned. What a legacy. I’m proud to know you and call you a friend. Enjoy this special day!
I never thought I’d say this, but Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is right. We can’t allow premiums for millions of Americans to double overnight. Washington Republicans should work with us to fund health care and end this shutdown now.
Two years ago, Israel was attacked in a horrific act of terrorism and violence by Hamas. As we remember the victims, I remain hopeful we will achieve a permanent ceasefire, lasting peace, and return of the hostages so that Palestinian & Israeli children can live in a world where they are all safe.
Americans don’t need the chaos and confusion this administration has caused from day one. Increasing the cost of health care and shutting down the government is just more chaos for working people. Who is this administration working for?
Over a million people in Georgia alone are set to pay hundreds more every month for their health care if DC Republicans get their way. It’s not right. I’m calling on my Republican colleagues to do the right thing. Fund health care and reopen the government now.
I was sent this by a Georgian this morning. 2025 premiums vs 2026 premiums for someone making $65k a year. Republicans in Washington did this. This is what I'm fighting to stop. This is what’s at stake in this shutdown fight.
