The president accepted $2 million from a South Korean company facing U.S. trade investigations. As Trump continues to use his position to enrich himself, Americans are left wondering if their government is making decisions in the best interest of the country or Trump’s finances.
The Pentagon's failure to disclose strikes that resulted in U.S. casualties is alarming. If our servicemembers are paying the price for this war of choice, the American people have a right to know the full cost.
While we’re on the topic of declassifying intelligence assessments…. Trump’s IC still hasn’t released the unclassified version of the IC assessment of the 2024 election- something released within months of the 2020 and 2022 federal elections. Why won’t he? What’s the hold up?
Virginia, much of our Commonwealth is experiencing hazy skies and poor air quality today… and it could last all the way through the weekend. Those with heart disease, lung disease, asthma, and other complicating health issues should stay indoors. Everyone should limit strenuous activity.
@chrislhayes.bsky.social shares his instant reaction to Trump's speech: "He's trying to undermine confidence in the system. He's trying to create some sense that there's vulnerabilities there, so that in the future, a loss he can say was the result of this nefarious foreign actor."
Tonight, Donald Trump made one thing abundantly clear: He’s going to do everything he can to interfere in our free and fair elections. This is the time for all of us to stand together and fight back.
OSSOFF: I expect tonight's speech to be equal parts pathetic and dangerous. I think we will hear from the world's most famous sore loser, a prime time presidential sour grapes address reheating, debunked conspiracy theories about an election in which he was soundly defeated.
Warner: "As an American, I'm embarrassed ... we gotta decide whether we can keep our republic. And if we simply blow this off as another Donald Trump rant, we do that at our own peril"
It’s pretty laughable to watch Trump try and pretend accessing the voter file is the same thing as election interference. ANY statewide candidate will tell you that information is publicly available to purchase – it’s not some huge breach.
Well folks, as expected, Trump revealed essentially nothing new. His speech was just lies & long-debunked conspiracies about the 2020 election. This is all just a prelude to interfere in our midterms — don’t fall for it.
Trump’s shocking “bombshells” about China are totally bogus. The fact is our intelligence agencies unanimously agreed that China did not even try to change a single vote in the 2020 election.
