Mark R. Warner

Mark Robert Warner is an American businessman and politician serving as the senior United States senator from Virginia, a seat he has held since 2009. A member of the Democratic Party, Warner served as the 69th governor of Virginia from 2002 to 2006. He is vice chair of the Senate Democratic Caucus and vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Climate change is real, deadly, and costly. But Republicans spent the week before devastating floods wiping out clean energy tax credits – eliminating jobs and erasing our progress on securing a clean energy future.
This administration should be focused on recruiting and retaining the best talent to serve our veterans, not chasing 30,000 Americans out of their jobs. Make no mistake: veterans’ health care will suffer as a result of this farce.
When millions get thrown off Medicaid, when costs go up for folks insured through the Marketplace, those impacts will raise costs and shutter hospitals for all – even if you have private insurance. The GOP’s megabill is an uncontained disaster.
