We need rules in place to protect regular investors in crypto and private equity – not a shadowy system that lines the pockets of crypto billionaires and giant private equity firms. A downturn in these markets could put our whole economy at risk.
More and more Americans are literally being forced to use GoFundMe to survive. So what are Donald Trump and the Republicans doing to help? Ripping away families' health care and jacking up insurance premiums to pay for giant tax handouts for their billionaire buddies.

You can understand this shutdown with 3 numbers. 15M — the number of people Republicans want to kick off health care 20M — the number of people Republicans want to 2x health premiums for 0 — the number of times Republicans have called the House back to reopen the government
Health insurance companies are finalizing their rates RIGHT NOW. Doesn't matter if you're in a red or blue state, your premium might skyrocket. And somehow, Republican senators are okay with throwing thousands of their own constituents under the bus.
Today must also be an important step toward lasting peace in the region — peace for both Israelis and Palestinians. We must end the war in Gaza, surge humanitarian aid, and negotiate a two-state solution now.
Because of Republicans’ massive health care cuts, millions of American families will see their premiums skyrocket. That could mean having to choose between paying for health care or electricity. That's how dire our health care crisis is. That's why Democrats are not giving up.
Billionaire corporations are already seeing the money roll in from the giant tax giveaways Donald Trump and the Republicans stuffed into their Big, Beautiful Bill. What about working Americans? They're losing their health care, and their costs just keep going up. It's shameful.
We’re in a health care crisis. Hospitals and clinics will close from Trump’s cuts. 15 million people will lose their health care. Now Trump’s CDC layoffs are making it even WORSE by gutting our ability to stop emerging health threats. Democrats are fighting to stop this.
