UPDATE: Senate Republicans made Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill even worse. Now, this bill rips health care coverage away from 17 MILLION people—that’s an additional 1 MILLION people. Health care cuts now total over $1 TRILLION.
51,000 people will unnecessarily die each year under Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill.” Mitch McConnell wants them to “get over it.” No person in this country will “get over” losing a loved one so Republicans could fund tax giveaways for billionaires.
It’s 2AM on a Sunday and I’m heading to the Capitol to FORCE a full reading of the Republicans’ 940-page bill. This bill will rip health care coverage away from 16 million people and cut food assistance. It’s sick. And we will not stand for it.
Republican Senators voting for Trump's bill: Please explain to Vivi why it's okay to make cuts to the program that helps pay for her wheelchair, her therapists, and her aide. Just look her and millions of other kids in the eye and say that you think cutting their care is okay.
Kids like Vivian shouldn’t have to lobby senators to have health care. I’m in this fight all the way.
BREAKING: 1 in 4 nursing homes say they will be forced to close if Republicans pass Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. No grandma should be kicked out of her nursing home so that Mark Zuckerberg can buy another Hawaiian island.
Democrats need to use every second to fight back against the Big Beautiful Bill. I’m helping hold the Senate all night and FORCE a full reading of this 940-page bill.
UPDATE: Republicans’ Big Beautiful Bill cuts nearly $1 TRILLION from Medicaid.
Senate Republicans dropped a nearly 1,000-page “Big Beautiful Bill” in the DEAD OF THE NIGHT. And they want to vote on it TODAY. Trump is jamming through a bill that rips away health care, closes hospitals, raises grocery and utility bills to give tax breaks to billionaires.
The Trump Admin just decided to send thousands of innocent people who have been living and working here legally into imminent danger in Haiti. Trump will tear apart families, rip up communities, and leave businesses and nursing homes short handed. And no one will be safer.

Donald Trump violated the Constitution when he bombed Iran. Only Congress can declare war. I'm headed to vote for @kaine.senate.gov's War Power Resolution to rein Trump in. Americans didn't vote for another endless war in the Middle East.
Jenny is a mom and cancer survivor who relies on Medicaid for health care. Millions of people like Jenny are at risk of losing their health insurance under Republicans' "Big Beautiful Bill." Together, with brave people like Jenny, we can protect health care for millions.
Massachusetts has always led the fight towards true equality, and the federal government should follow. Today, I introduced the Refund Equality Act, to reverse discrimination and get couples the refunds they are owed. Every day is a good day to celebrate love.
At a town hall, I asked folks to raise their hands if they know someone who depends on Medicaid. Every hand went up. Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill cuts Medicaid. Little babies shouldn't lose their health care so Jeff Bezos can buy a 5th yacht.
