This president ran on ending foreign wars and lowering costs for Americans. We are now going on 5 months of skyrocketing prices because of his war of choice.

Americans expect their tax dollars to go towards whatever research will give us the best shot at a cure to a disease or a scientific breakthrough – not just pet projects for Donald Trump and his loyalists.
Three more U.S. servicemembers lost their lives this past weekend because of Trump’s war in Iran. That is now 17 servicemembers who are not coming home to their families.
This is the cost of a war of choice. apnews.com/article/iran...
This president is focused on all the wrong things.
Wisconsinites are being stretched thin, and homeownership is simply out of reach for so many. I couldn’t be happier that our bill to lower housing costs is now law of the land.

Utterly devastating. My heart breaks for these servicemembers’ families and loved ones. I’m keeping them in my thoughts.
This much is clear, the President’s war in Iran needs to end now.
ICE needs more guardrails — not less.
Rep. Lewis devoted his life to bringing liberty and justice to all. As we mark 6 years since his passing, we honor his legacy by continuing that fight to create a more equal, more just country.
Why are Republicans hellbent on making deeply personal medical decisions for American women and taking away our right to control our bodies?

We can and must do better. wisconsinexaminer.com/2026/07/13/r...
This war has been a failure from the start. And to know that these failures could have been prevented is a huge disservice to the men and women who bravely put their lives on the line. Their families deserve answers, and so do we.
Too many Wisconsin families are struggling to make ends meet, and instead of that being his highest priority, President Trump is focused on a bill that will make folks pay for IDs they don’t have and force rural Wisconsinites to drive long distances just to register to vote.
Despite President Trump’s best efforts to stop it, we have just made affordable housing more accessible for millions of Americans.
ICE is out of control. Putting them at polling places on Election Day is only going to invite more chaos and stop eligible Americans from voting. We need to pass my bill to stop that from happening.
Let’s spend money on health care, not bombs.
Proud to be lowering housing costs for families, with or without the President’s support.
Republicans chose tax breaks for billionaires over health care for working families. Costs are already soaring because of Trump’s illegal war with Iran; this is the last thing they need.
I am thrilled that lower housing costs are on the horizon, but it should never have been delayed. Today, one of the most significant pieces of housing legislation becomes law—no thanks to President Trump.
