In tonight’s State of the Union address, I hope President Trump has answers for the American people.
Real answers on why he has yet to lower their costs, or why he is focused on more foreign wars, or even about his relationship with Epstein. He owes it to the American people.
This is just part of the Trump administration’s plan to abolish the Department of Education, threatening to delay or cut off the support that local schools and students rely on. Just disgraceful.
The month of Ramadan brings a peaceful time of reflection and the spirit giving back, and I’m glad to see Wisconsinites doing just that. I’m wishing our Muslim community in Wisconsin a month filled with peace, renewal, and community.

The American people don’t want another war in the Middle East. I don’t either. Negotiation and diplomacy are how we stop Iran’s nuclear program, not a war that puts more American troops at risk.

NeighborWorks in Beloit is helping folks who are in a tough place find a safe, affordable place to live. I was happy to be in Beloit to see firsthand the incredible work they’re doing.
In 2023 and 2024 combined, there were only 2 Wisconsin farm bankruptcies.
In 2025, that number skyrocketed to 16.
If we want to continue to be America’s Dairyland, we have to stop this — and that starts with Donald Trump ending this reckless trade war.
The cost of rent, or if you are lucky, to buy, is crushing families. And part of the problem is Wall Street investors buying up Wisconsin homes. I've always said that I'll stand up to President Trump where I have to, and work with him where I can — and on this, let's get to work.
My statement on the Supreme Court striking down President Trump's reckless and damaging trade war:
Trump’s tariffs have driven up costs for our small businesses, and the deck is stacked against them and their customers. The president needs to support our Main Streets, not undermine them. www.news8000.com/lifestyle/mo...
Plain and simple, the President is trying to take away Veterans’ hard-earned benefits and shortchange them. We made a promise to take care of those who served us, and I’ll stand up to anyone who gets in the way of us fulfilling it. The administration must reverse course, now.
Starting and running a small business is hard enough, but dealing with a chaotic trade war and rising costs is making it nearly impossible to get ahead. I was in Eau Claire to chat with business owners about the challenges they’re facing and hear how I can help.
For over a century, Harley-Davidson has been woven into our state’s identity, supporting good-paying jobs and driving our Wisconsin economy forward. Now, the iconic company is being slammed by Trump’s trade war and is stuck paying costly tariffs.
This is not America First.
The Open Door Clinic in Chippewa Falls embodies the best of our state — Folks stepping up to care for whoever walks in the door.
We need to support these health care heroes and families who need affordable care by stopping the attacks on Medicaid and fixing our broken system.
Rural hospitals like Tri-County in Whitehall are doing absolutely vital work to keep folks in Western Wisconsin healthy. But after Republicans slashed Medicaid, rural health care is on the chopping block, making their jobs harder.
Wisconsinites deserve so much better.
Chaos. Complete and total chaos. That is what the Trump administration has brought to American families and the hard working researchers finding cures to diseases that plague all of us. I’m proud to rein in that chaos.

Wisconsin, you’ve always been my one true love ❤️
From skating on a frozen pond in his backyard in West Bend, Wisconsin, to breaking an Olympic record, what an accomplishment.
We are all cheering you on from home, Jordan! 🇺🇸

Today, we had a choice: give ICE a blank check to continue wreaking havoc on Americans, or say no and that we need to do better. I know better is possible, but the White House and Republicans need to get serious and listen to the American people who are demanding ICE be reined in.
Once again, Donald Trump and RFK, Jr. are putting Americans’ health on the line just to play petty politics and punish those who’ve spoken out against him. Just shameful.
Children shouldn’t have to face mental health struggles alone. I was proud to help deliver this funding to the Fox Valley Boys and Girls Club to connect Wisconsin kids with the help they need. www.wbay.com/2026/02/05/b...
