We cannot allow President Trump to put ICE agents between Americans and their constitutional right to vote. I’m doing everything I can to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Collaboration at all levels of government is how we deliver for the people we work for. That's why I'm grateful for partners like Milwaukee Mayor Johnson. Great to see him today to talk about our work to lower housing costs and keep Milwaukee a great place to live and work.
The President is openly talking about sending armed troops to our polling places. This is not about safety; it is about trying to intimidate voters and tip the scales in the midterm elections. My new bill would stop him in his tracks. www.jsonline.com/story/news/p...
Spreading baseless lies and threatening to send ICE to our election sites won’t make our elections any safer — it will just intimidate eligible voters from voting. The President’s efforts to meddle and intimidate voters need to stop now.
Republicans’ war in Iran has been a double whammy for our farmers. Not only is it more expensive for them to run their machinery and grow crops, but getting those crops to market is costing more too. They need relief from this chaos. www.jsonline.com/story/news/l...
Wisconsin elections are secure and your votes are counted thanks to our local election officials. While the Trump Administration continues to spread lies and meddle in their work, it was great to meet with Dane County election workers who keep our elections safe and free.
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! This marks a time to celebrate the culture, tradition, and contributions of the Hispanic Americans who make our state and country stronger.
15 years ago, we told our service members they can live their lives as their true, authentic selves when we ended the discriminatory Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy. Today reminds us of what’s possible when we don’t let our differences divide us but instead unite us.
The president is serious about trying to meddle in our elections by sending armed federal agents to our polling places this November. I’m serious about stopping this. We need to pass my bill to prevent this from happening.
The president has already tried to cut staff and funding from research to find cures for cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, and other illnesses. The last thing we need is him to inject more of his politics into this work and slow down these scientists even more. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
Our nation’s veterans know the true cost of war better than anyone. We’ve already lost 18 U.S. servicemembers to Trump’s war of choice in Iran. Today, I joined Wisconsin veterans to call for an end to this war.
Walmart and Amazon are hiding Made in America products from customers when they are looking for them. That’s wrong, and it needs to change. We should be doing everything we can to support American manufacturing and businesses, not undermine them. www.wsj.com/cmo-today/se...
