The Trump administration just implemented a rule to rip abortion care away from veterans. Our servicewomen risk everything to serve our country. Denying them essential reproductive health care is a betrayal of that service.
Trump's VA just banned abortion care for veterans—even in cases of rape, incest, or threats to health. This is cruel, and dangerous.
Today, the Trump administration rolled back the VA’s already limited abortion protections for women veterans — an egregious and dangerous decision that is part of its continued effort to undermine women’s health care and driven by politics, not patient care.
His rhetoric is matched by reckless leadership. Johnson has backed legislation that closes maternity wards, obstructs women’s access to life-saving reproductive health care, and cuts funding that helps families afford childbirth.
As Speaker, Mike Johnson has sidelined women in his own party and been shamelessly vocal about his regressive views on gender. His rhetoric is divisive and demeaning, rooted in ideology rather than facts, and aimed at policing women’s choices instead of solving real problems.
