Last night, I held a town hall in Citrus Heights where I listened to your concerns about this Administration’s attacks on our community, health care and rule of law.
I look forward to continuing these important conversations as I continue fighting for Sacramento County and our values in Washington.

Let’s remember that unity. Let’s practice kindness, civility and see one another for who we are — Americans who believe in the greatness and promise of our country.

Republicans are trying to jam this bill through overnight to rip health care and food assistance away from millions of Americans.
I’m standing by and ready to vote NO on this legislation.

President Trump is wrong when he says that his bill only cuts “waste, fraud and abuse” from Medicaid.
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says that this bill will cut nearly $700 billion from Medicaid.
That’s millions of Americans who will lose their health care.
