Proud to join @merkley.senate.gov on the floor to break down some of this administration’s MOST corrupt acts and help raise the alarm.
Here, the voices of our communities hold weight and I’ll never stop speaking out.

Republicans’ Big Ugly Betrayal sold out working people AND small businesses, all to pay for permanent tax cuts for the ultra rich.
With the Republican Big, Beautiful BETRAYAL of a bill, Main Street is now Pain Street for small businesses.

Exactly right.
This is an incredible threat to our nation, and @merkley.senate.gov has been holding the Senate floor for hours to call it out.
Tune in ⬇️

THIS IS NOT NORMAL.
I'm holding the floor to protest Trump dragging us further into authoritarianism.

This weekend, I joined Rev. Al Sharpton on Politics Nation with a simple message: the President and Speaker Johnson need to call House Republicans back to work.
We can’t negotiate with people who aren’t even in the CITY, much less the Capitol.
First, Republicans gutted health care access for millions of Americans.
Then, they shut down the government for 21 days— with no end in sight.
Now, they’re throwing themselves a party to celebrate.
Up next: YOUR premiums go up because of their inaction.
Trump promised to lower costs and help working class Americans.
Now, costs are higher than ever, and no one can find a new job.
His economic leadership has been nothing short of a disaster.
Reflecting on this weekend’s No Kings rallies, I’m filled with energy and resolve.
This is not just a one time deal—we’re going to have to stay strong and keep this energy going.
Together, we can defend our democracy.

This is not just a one time deal—we’re going to have to stay strong and keep this energy going.
Together, we can defend our democracy.
We have the chance to help people who are struggling the most have it better tomorrow than they do today.
That’s what we're fighting for.
This administration sows division to distract from the fact that they’re selling all of us - regardless of party - out to the highest bidder.

Republicans own this shutdown.
We want to reopen the government, but we’re unwilling to support a status quo that sells out millions of our constituents to make our nation poorer and sicker.
They want our votes? Come to the table and help us fix this.

I do not want your premiums to double next year. Republicans do.

If you thought your electric bill jumped a lot in this Trump administration, it’s because it did!
What you didn’t know is that they are jacking your electricity prices on purpose to reward big donors with big bucks.
This administration wants to shut down the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
That’s the agency tasked with protecting consumers, like you, from fraud, price gouging, and corporate abuse.
If you were wondering whose side they were on, here’s your answer.
Let Me Be Blunt: your premiums are about to DOUBLE.
We still have a chance to set things right, but we’re on the clock. Republicans have TWO WEEKS left to come to the table and help us fix this.
There’s no time to waste.

Let’s be clear: Republicans control the White House, Senate, and House.
This shutdown is on them.
Democrats are ready to end this—and protect your health care.
A look at this Republican government shutdown, by the numbers:

Republicans don’t have a strategy to reopen the government, and it shows.
On Day #15 of Donald Trump’s shutdown, I am STILL waiting for Republicans to get their act together and help us lower Americans' health care costs.

Republicans control the House, Senate, and White House.
They shut down the government to slash YOUR health care.
