We have the chance to help people who are struggling the most have it better tomorrow than they do today. That’s what we're fighting for. This administration sows division to distract from the fact that they’re selling all of us - regardless of party - out to the highest bidder.
This administration wants to shut down the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. That’s the agency tasked with protecting consumers, like you, from fraud, price gouging, and corporate abuse. If you were wondering whose side they were on, here’s your answer.
This is what we’ve been saying: shutdown or not, this administration has been withholding funds, cancelling grants to things like cancer research, and carelessly firing dedicated federal workers. They’ve given us no reason to trust their word—it’s time Congress took a stand.
