Was proud to be in Lewes yesterday to kick off the ‘Hate Has No Home Here’ Campaign. We are in a dark moment in our history — a moment where the powerful are targeting the weak to divide us for their gain. But as long as groups like this come together, hate has no home.

This President likes to talk about being ‘colorblind’ and protecting ‘every American,’ but for too many his actions have left them feeling erased from society. Our government should be advancing equal opportunities for ALL Americans, not just those deemed ‘worthy’ by the party in power.
Across the country, people are being priced out of their communities and are struggling to find a safe, stable place to call home. I was glad to join the Bipartisan Policy Center to talk about how we can address barriers to new affordable housing and bring down costs nationwide.
This administration is openly advocating for discrimination at the VA for patients and providers alike. It’s both cruel and dystopian that this president would deny our VETERANS care because they are unmarried or voted for his opponents.
I was glad to join @udelaware.bsky.social’s Democracy Project today to connect with teachers from across our state. Civics education is a vital piece of a healthy democracy, and I’m so grateful for their commitment to helping our kids understand their government.
We knew RFK Jr’s record on vaccines and public health— it was part of the reason I voted against his confirmation. But our Republican colleagues believed his assurances. Now that he’s gone back on his word, it’s time for them to join us and take action.
I’m on the Senate floor to stand with @padilla.senate.gov This administration’s escalatory response to protests and accountability has been astounding. No one should be subject to violence simply for making their voice and the voices of their community heard.
This is a dark day. Political violence has no place in our democracy. All of our leaders must stand united in condemning this terrible news out of Minnesota. I am praying for the victims, their families, and their constituents as they process an unspeakable tragedy.
Let Me Be Blunt: RFK is continuing his war on vaccines - this time firing all 17 members of the CDC's vaccine advisory panel. Replacing them with hand-picked vaccine skeptics puts lives at risk— I'll do everything I can to investigate and reverse this decision.
