Cutting a vital resource that millions rely on isn't efficiency. It's about keeping our seniors in the dark as they make it harder to access benefits - or cut them entirely - so they can pay for their billionaire tax cut. This is a robbery - we need to call it out.
This morning, workers at the @usedgov.bsky.social were told to stay home. It's the first step in their plan to dismantle the department entirely. Instead of lowering your costs, they’re focused on taking money away from schools, kids from low-income households, and kids with disabilities.
The Agriculture Secretary just called this now-canceled USDA program that helped feed kids AND support our farmers "non-essential." You read that right - the Trump administration thinks both our children and our farmers are "non-essential."
When Trump starts reckless trade wars with our allies, they push back. Now, more than a million families will see their energy costs go higher than ever. His promise to cut your energy costs in half was a hollow one. Actions have consequences.
Workers all across this country have made a deal: contribute to Social Security so that when you retire, you can do so with dignity. The richest man in the world just proposed breaking that deal - and stealing your money - like it was nothing. OUTRAGEOUS.
Cuts to life-saving health research would have a big impact on Delawareans. That’s why I'm grateful to AG Jennings and all the attorneys general who've successfully sued to stop Trump's cuts to vital NIH research, including $13M+ for Delaware. baytobaynews.com/stories/heal...
There’s never been a plan. Planes are falling out of the sky and this admin wants to fire the people in charge of helping them land safely. All to justify giving their billionaire friends’ companies lucrative government contracts. They’re looking out for themselves, not you.
On the 60th anniversary of Bloody Sunday, we remember the courage of all those who remained undeterred by bigotry and violence as marched for voting rights. As those fundamental rights that their bravery secured come under threat yet again, I’ll never back down. We’re not going back.
$2,000 may mean nothing to Trump and his billionaire friends, but for families across Delaware this would be a disaster. But that's the point: they don't care about families living paycheck to paycheck so long as they keep getting richer.
