We don’t need a larger ICE presence in NE Ohio. ICE has operated with impunity under Trump, believing they are above the law and the last thing local residents want is more dangerous chaos from them.

Still more we could do …
- Fund Tuition-Free Community College programs for 12 years
- Build a high-speed rail system
- Provide universal high-speed internet for 2 years
Taxpayer dollars should help the American people, not pay for Trump’s reckless wars.
Wait! There’s still more investments back home that we could make
- End the maternal health crisis by funding preventative care, post-partum care, and further research
- Fix all 220,000 bridges in need of repair nationwide
- Fund Early Childhood development education programs for 10 years
The list of good we could do with that money instead of spending $1 billion a day in Iran goes on and on…
- Fund expanded veterans’ VA medical care
- Increase the Child Tax Credit for 2 years
- Build affordable housing
Trump wants an extra $350 billion for more wars and fat defense contracts for his family:
Here's what we could do with $350 billion to actually help people.
🧵
- Fund ACA tax credits for 10 years
- Expand Medicaid to cover millions of Americans
- Increase SNAP food benefits
I'm all for Melania Trump calling for a public hearing for Epstein survivors. Especially since her husband's acting AG Todd Blanche is actively trying to kill the investigation and Pam Bondi is trying to get out of testifying.
Closing the Conn Selmer factory in Eastlake and shipping the jobs to China isn’t just wrong, it’s a betrayal.
Rep. Ro Khanna and I are demanding answers on why the Trump Administration is looking the other way.

Trump is unfit to lead. It's time for the 25th Amendment.
Democrats just went to the House floor to advance legislation to stop Trump's war with Iran. Republicans blocked it. The American People want a permanent end to this mad war.
The Republican blockade on our democracy continues. But we won't stop fighting.
Because he is unhinged, unwell, and unfit to lead.
It's time to take away the codes, take away his phone, and invoke the 25th Amendment.

Higher energy costs and a 40% surge in fertilizer prices.
Thanks to Trump's war with Iran, Ohio farmers are getting squeezed.

Whether Republicans admit it or not, you can't call for a ceasefire unless you are at war.
But a ceasefire isn't enough.
It’s time for Republicans to stop shielding this madman. Congress must reconvene to put a permanent end Trump’s reckless and costly war.
This isn't something you can opt-out of.
Pam Bondi is trying to weasel out of accountability by refusing to testify about the Epstein files.
Whether she's Attorney General or not, she will come before the Oversight Committee to reveal the truth about this White House cover-up.
Trump is reckless, unhinged, and veering from maniacal threats to “deals” at a moment’s notice. It’s not making us safer.
Congress must reconvene so that we can vote to permanently end this war.
I’ll again support a war powers resolution to end the war and continue to oppose any more funding for this war.
Republicans must join us in reining this President in. (2/2)
Trump took the world to the brink. For no clear purpose.
He is so clearly unhinged, unwell, and unfit to lead.
Someone needs to take away the codes, take away his phone and we need to invoke the 25th amendment to prevent this madness from happening again. (1/2)
Trump’s DOGE cuts are jeopardizing VA care.
Under Trump’s leadership, the VA has seen record losses in resources, staffing, & programming.
Just shameful.

The President's posts are totally insane -- but also terrifying.
This is exactly why I voted against funding for Trump’s Dept of War. Trump is unhinged and he’s getting worse.
Congress must reconvene immediately, and Republicans need to join us in ending this war NOW.
The health care cuts in Trump's Big Ugly Law aren't just terrible for people on Medicaid or ACA plans, they're also making hospital closures more likely - putting everyone's health care at risk.
All for tax cuts for the rich, ICE abuses, and another war.

We have to be better than this. Better in how we speak. Better in how we lead. And better in how we recognize and uplift our shared humanity.
